They helped me immensely

I have had a Medicare policy through AARP for years now, the rates increase the services decrease and I was getting fed up. I had a kooky conservatives friend who was bragging about how great his service was he called AMAC. I gave it a shot and I was not let down. The Medicare sales person was so sweet and helpful I am sure I will call them every year. I have not joined as a member yet but who knows what the future holds.

Just saw this online and thought I'd comment

So far, AMAC has been great. They helped me get the best and cheapest MediCare supplement as well as Part D coverage. We love their magazine and have confidence in what they represent. We share the same views.

Useful and timely information, disoounts on services of interest.

No complaint, I'm just wondering why the negative reviews. I think the info they give is useful even though I don' t agree with 100% of anyone's information but Dinesh D'souza is a very intelligent guy who cares about our country. Even if you hold other opinions it's good to widen your view- change the channel frequently to see how others think

Great Company to Work with

Rates are reasonable, offers are great, and the customer service is friendly and professional. Its great to see a valid alternative to AARP, to whom Id never give a penny. AMAC keeps adding new benefits and connections. Couldnt be happier!

Renewal subscription canceled after it was paid for.

I received a subscription renewal notice from AMAC on an email. After receiving the notice I printed the form and sent a check for a one year renewal. My check was cashed so I thought everything was okay. Later on I received a notice that my subscription was canceled. I never received my money back so basically they stole my money!!!

Their roadside service is a joke

My 77/year old husband had a flat tire and needed a tow so he called AMAC roadside service at 7pm and was told it would be an hour wait. One hour later and he was told it would be another hour. He had finished his water, there was no restroom and it was Florida summer heat. He called after the second hour and was told it would be 5 minutes. Half and hour later he called me and asked me to come pick him up because no one was answering the phone . I got to my husbands location and called again at 11 pm after waiting on Muzak for 10minutes! And no tow truck! 24 hour service? I dont think so. I am so angry I am incandescent!

I would never join AMAC-Not a customer

Since the pandemic, I've noticed that all the "senior citizen" organizations have lowered the "elderly" age to 50. The "retirement" age and the age when you qualify for social security is 67. People are already suffering from ageism at an early age when society says we should be working. I can't help but think that ageism is happening in 2022 (when 50 is the new 40) because of organizations lowing the "senior citizen" age to 50 in order to increase their profits.

AMAC sucks!

We have had AMAC for almost ten years now and not once have we benefitted from the company. And last night was the final straw, when we just put out almost $100 to renew our Roadside Assistance Program. AMAC's subcontractor Nationwide never showed up and we finally had to call after two hours, only to be told that it would be another 35 minutes. That is what we were told the first time. BS.

Vaccine

Someone needs to find out how many vials of vaccine were sent to the United States. How many vials of vaccine were shipped out to the states. What is the difference. It seems entirely possible that someone has scraped up 38 million doses and sold them and is going to leave town with the money. Someone check it out!

Resolved: Weather of money

Updated by user Feb 01, 2021

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. After a few weeks i finally got a reply letting me know they were closing my account and refunding the money.

Great. Now i get to look forward at least another 4 weeks of the same automated email "your situation is under review". Boggling that a company competing with AARP is handling things like a bad magazine subscription that takes forever too reality cancel.

I'm not impressed. Sadly there is no real other option..

Been trying to get an response of any kind for a week now. There services are not a good value for what is offered. Only real way to find out is after signing up. Then you see your mistake. Avoid like the plague!

Poor Service/Quality

I just received a notice for updating my premium on my secondary insurance by 12-13 percent starting in mid August. How nice of you to ask for more money in the time of Coved-19. In this time of lost monies, layoffs and overall lost paychecks YOU ask for more money. How much stimulas has YOUR company received from the Federal Govt?? Seems to me that YOU should be returning some or all of that stimulas back to the Govt. If not, shame on you for de-frauding the govt and defrauding the USAA customers. MONITORING YOUR RATES??????????????? P L E A S E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <;;;;;;;; NOT BORN YESTERDAY &amp;gt;
