Complaint about order

I had to wait 12 additional days because the wrong bed rails were ordered and customer said I would receive a check for $80 to compensate for the wait but I havent received it yet. They said it would be a few days and its already been more than a week and I still have not received a check yet. Very disappointed in customer service

Delivery

Purchased a very expensive bed from the Ashley furniture store in Aberdeen NC. The delivery crew was VERY rude and not professional. Didn't expect this from a store such as this. Won't recommend this store.

Fixing my chair

They still have not fixed my chair.i have waited months and I still have not heard from them. I purchased the extra insurance and am very disappointed with my service

I put money down to hold some items for a day or two. When I went to pick up my items they had sold one that I couldn't order so I lost out and the other was broken. They are terrible to deal with.

the other was broken. They are terrible to deal with and they don't care. They sold the one 8ten I wanted so badly and I put money down to hold it. I'm extremely angry how They treated ne. I asked fir NY deposit back and cancelled the remaining items.

I purchased furniture from Ashley's Furniture Outlet on Summer Ave 6/21/23. I purchased a clearance sofa and an online order for the other sofa. The young man set a pick up date for 7/3/23. I was NEVER informed that if the sofa wasn't picked up by that day, my order would be canceled. I received a few calls from Ashley's 1800 number to see what day would be good to pick up my sofa from the warehouse. I let them know 7/8/23 would be a good day. I tried contacting the Summer location to let them know that I would also pick my sofa up from there on the 8th, but I couldn't get anyone on the phone. When I spoke with an agent from the 1800 number again, I explained to them that I couldn't get anyone on the phone at the Summer location. The lady said she would contact them and let them know, that I would like to pick up on the 8th. Fast forward to yesterday. My father and I went to the warehouse, I didn't have any issues picking up that sofa. When we went ro the Summer Ave location, different story. I was informed that my order was canceled because I didn't pick it up on the 3rd. I informed them that I tried to call and no one answered. They said their phones were down. I feel that is bad customer service. They could have sent an email or called from their personal phone to follow-up with the customer, especially if their phones weren't working . Everything with them yesterday, was unprofessional. I was just in there on the 21st of last month. How can you not remember a sale that you didn't with a customer. When I walked in on the 21st, the young lady greeted and assisted me. When I got ready to finalize my order, the younger manager and the two other younger men assisted me with my purchase. The young lady, hollered to them to make sure her name was put on the sale. Oh, but yesterday, they all were acting dumb and talking under their breath. The kind of heavy set one slick got smart. He made a comment saying , today is the 8th, its way past the 3rd. Again, I tried calling and NO ONE answered the phone. Because of their bad customer service , it makes the company look bad. Even though, I had a GREAT experience with Hayden at the Wolfchase location when I purchased my table last year, I don't think I will be giving Ashley's anymore of my business. I will be returning the other sofa Tuesday back to the warehouse. It's funny how everyone was so nice and friendly when they were selling me the sofas, but attitudes change when I came to pick the sofa up and my order was canceled and I was never informed. Very bad customer service.

Repair lift chair

The cushion had migrated from the leg portion leaving me you leg laying on cloth and wood and since the we hear a Crack from under the legs while lifting.they had me send them photos of the chair to them on May 24th and haven't heard anything back yet. I've never had this much problems from my other purchases in the past

I waited at home all day for a delivery that was confirmed with me 48 hours ago and also received a call yesterday to confirm for today’s appointment for my delivery. I called today at 2:30 to confirm

I am upset due to a delivery that was not received on time today. I got a confirmation 48 hours ago for todays date for my delivery. Also a text message the day before to confirm for this delivery so I would not pay the $75 fee if I was not home but no I have been waiting here all day for delivery that did not show. I called your store today at 2:30 and I was told they were only on delivery number two and I was number six the last stop and now I have called and no one is showing up with no delivery

Fraudulent Practices and Selling of incomplete furniture sets

On February 19th, 2023 I purchased furniture from an Ashley HomeStore in Longview, Texas. The items were delivered on May 23, 2023 and we immediately noticed that a left arm and right arm recliner were unable to connect due to missing wedge pieces. One reclining piece is missing hardware and does not work. The headrest of another reclining piece does not work and a third reclining piece is missing stuffing in the fabric.

Horrible customer service

First, the delivery of my couches was absolutely reckless. I was following them around trying to get them to be careful because they had already damaged my foyer in their first attempt. In the process they damaged my freshly painted walls that cost $10k+ to get done. I called Ashley's delivery services immediately and let them know and sent initial pictures. I followed up with more pictures a few days later. Then they said it would be 3-5 business days to hear a response on the damages. Didn't hear from them for two weeks, so I called back to see what's going on. I ended up getting a nasty customer service representative names Samantha that was rude n& refused to talk to me since I put the order under my husbands name (out of respect to him) but paid with MY credit card. She also claimed the follow up pictures meant nothing because they were sent after the 72 hour claim period. I kept telling her that I sent original pictures and reported the reckless delivery within the proper time and these were follow up pictures. Her response was you're not "husbands name" rather than address the issue as a means to not deal with me. Nothing resolved, I'm out thousands of dollars and a lot of aggravation.

Bad Customer Service

I purchased a new reclining loveseat and had it about three weeks when it stopped working correctly. I notified the salesperson that I dealt with when buying, told her of the problem and she said someone would reach out to me. I had to call the customer service department myself and was told that they knew nothing about it. Was told the parts were ordered and it would be awhile before they were delivered. After about a month I called back and was told someone would reach out to me. After a week I called BBB and filed a complaint. The same day AF called saying that they had just ordered the parts and they would be here in about 3-4 days. They showed up within the timeframe that was given to me. A week went by and no word on when someone would be out to repair the loveseat. I called today was told a repairman would be in contact. The repairman said he would be here Thursday but I have doctors appointments. Next available date would be 4/27/2023 which is not acceptable. Im going reach out to someone about a Class Action lawsuit.

Sofa question

Just received my new Signature sofa by Ashley. So far, I love it! However, The FEET ARE PLASTIC! Thus, I have a cheap sofa?!!! So Very disappointed! I would like a reply with a reason explaining How or Why an outstanding brand as Ashley would use PLASTIC? Im 75 and Never had any piece of furniture with plastic parts.

I went into the store in Niles to see a specific bed set, it was not available. I spoke with Victoria who assured me that the dresser I wanted to purchase had sliders on the sides of the drawers. I placed the order and was charged a delivery charge. I then went online to order the bed and saw that it was being offered with free delivery. They did refund the charge. The initial bed delivery came only with the headboard. I am still waiting on the balance. The dresser arrived, it did not have the side drawer slides as promised. I asked for some compensation for the misrepresentation of the sales associate, rather than stand behind their people, I now can go through the trouble of going to the store, picking out another dresser, have the unwanted dresser sit here in my kitchen until a replacement arrives and then also have to deal with the other items that were bought online to be replaced as well. Or just accept that Ashley Furniture sales representatives may lie to get a sale and nothing is done about it.

My delivery has been bumped 4 times

I will explain everything of what happened, when and if I close this issue of what I've been put through starting in Feb.22, 2023. Oh btw their invoice starts in March ???. But I'll show you mine. It's still on going after 2 1/2 months. I've been sleeping on my couch. I'm a senior, I received my new mattress and a frame 3/?/23 it's been so long I forgot. Certain things happened in-between till now. My health has suffered because I can't sleep, I have a bad back, hence getting a new mattress. So I've been on my couch. All this time. Ugh All because of terrible terrible service. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau when I ever get another new bed frame. So where I am now? I finally received a delivery date and was promised Saturday 4/15, now I called to confirm because I didn't trust it, and guess what they say 4/18 not 4/15. For NO REASON LIKE THE TENTH TIMES BEFORE THE OTHER PROBLEMS. THIS is not ACCEPTABLE. I have 3 people coming Saturday to set up my bed for me. They can't come on a week day they work. This is over my limit.I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE. I can't accept this. There is no reason for the delay I set the delivery DATE 5 days ago, so this wouldn't happen. Now I have people coming from other towns to help me. I live by myself, I can't set the frickin thing up. I'm not paying for it either. That's what happened on my first order. In February. I spent $2500 with Ashley I think I deserve service pronto. After what I've gone through. Which I haven't explained it all here. I am pissed.

Bugs in furniture

Furniture delivered with bed bugs. Starting getting bites, notified company, they sent a 3rd party to examine them. Bugs were found and reported. Ashley furniture has made it clear they do not resolve bed bug problems. Customer service manager Ms Harris, works from home and refused to have her warehouses inspected stating Ashley furniture has no bugs sadly They Do Have Bugs! Inspect your furniture before they bring it in your home. Once it has come inside your home you have no recourse. And. They have bugs in the warehouse!

One box arrive December 14. Asambly was supposed to be December 22. I would be here so December 15 l call to returned it, December 16 was pick up by FedEx. I was supposed to get my money back in the next 7-10 business days. December 23 l got another box, the store didn't know what or why l got so l have to wait for an e-mail to let me know when it will be picked up. Now l have to wait again 7-10 days to get my money back. That is UNACCEPTABLE!No

Horrible customer experience

We purchased sectional sofa set from Ashley back in September. It was delivered to us in very bad condition defective and poor quality. We asked delivery team to take it back but they refused and instead started fixing in front of us by hammiring detached peices in. We asked to stop but they left and told us customer service will contact us. We went to the store but they refused to take delivered peice back and issue refund. Very rude and disrespectful customer service.

Horrible service, gross negligence!!!

I went to the Ashley Homestore in Naperville Illinois on 7/28/2022. I purchased many things and the sales man seemed nice so I wrote an good review. That was before Ashley Furniture told me my sofa would not be delivered when promised. It was charged to my credit card so I will be paying interest on something I dont have! I called to see when my many thing would be delivered and Kimberly told me that my sofa was discontinued!!! NO ONE ever called me and if I didnt call I never would have known! I called the Naperville store and asked for the sales person Cesar and was told that he was off. Since I was already charged for my purchase, Brigit, from Naperville Ashley store said that they could send me the floor samples of the sofa and loveseat and give me $250 off. I agreed to that because I am sitting on a lawn chair. It was suppose to be delivered today. I am waiting and waiting and was told that the guy went to the wrong store! Now I am told by Brigit that he will be here around 5 or 6. So that saga continues. God only knows if and when I will get my table and 4 chairs and the end table that goes with the love seat and sofa, if I ever get them! What a nightmare. I pray that this nightmare is over and I get my things before the end of this month! God only knows because Ashley Furniture sure doesnt!
