Ariens Delux 28

My husband William Leatham III bought the Ariens Deluxe 28 brand new Make AREW Model 921046 (purchased 2020/2021 season) The first year we had the snowblower it was sent in for repairs under warranty. The snowblower would not start, ( even the place that repaired it could not get it started) the gas tank which is plastic cracked and the pull cord to start was broken (cord snapped in the casing) Season was mild for Maine (used maybe 2x) It was held for over 7 months and just prior to up coming snow season we got it back. ( 2022) Season was mild. used a few times ( maybe 3x) This year (2023) extremely mild season that most could be shoveled or pushed. In the middle of a snow storm the snowblower stopped moving and could not be pushed forward or backwards. All of sudden. We sent this in for repair to the tune of $710.29 This time the repairs are listed below Plate Swing Assy Disc Friction Drive V Belt Arm Idler Traction Bushing Flange 500x 625 Pin Hair Arm Attachment This product is a piece of junk. We invested $1600.00 in a brand new snowblower to only use it minimally having it sent out for repair under warranty and now this cost of an addition $710.29 add the pick up and delivery charge of $100.00. This item is a piece of junk. I can submit photos that shows how well kept this product was. Looks brand new. I have heard that you as a company value your customers and I sure hope you are going to value us. I can submit a copy of the most current repairs and photos of the condition of the snowblower. (again looks brand new). My request is to be refunded for what appears to be a lemon. As we purchased this several years back we are still looking for the receipt.

Faulty spark plug on new snowblower

Purchased 30 Deluxe Ariens Snowblower on Dec 18/22. January 21/23 wouldnt start. Contacted nearest Dealer to pickup unit to be repaired. $125 later they tell me its a poor quality spark plug that was defective. Had only been used for app 3 hours. Now Im out $125 on a brand new machine. What kind of warranty is that ??? G Hollett Luskville Quebec Canada

The company sucks

they sent a key witch cost an extra 10. oo and it DOES NOT WORK WITH THE SWITCH I paid 40.oo Plus dollars for. I just wonder if anybody with that company has more than a 4th grade education ?Buy

Ariens mower is expensive trash!

I have only my mower for 4 years, had regular maintenance and everything. All of a sudden it just wouldn't go forward. Found out it was leaking fluid and the transmission was broke! I know people that have had mowers for 20 years and this one dies after 4!!!??? Customer service was horrible and they do not back their products at all!! I see why, I wouldn't back up trash either! That says a lot! I will never buy anything from that company again! $800 for the part $1400 to fix!!! I will just buy a better brand!

I am pissed!

The problem is the oil will not drain!! Stupid *** design on how to change the oil. So they send a clear hose to slip over a plastic yellow drain plug. They say to slip the tube on the end of the yellow valve and then turn the valve to open. Try turning that yellow valve with the tube attached!! *** The tube kinks, then you finally STRUGGLE to get that valve turned, as it is almost hitting the frame so your fingers cannot get a good grip on it, dont even try getting a wrench on it. Get it open and the flexible tube has to lay flat on the frame which in turn is horizontal in which the oil will not drain, and if it does start to drain...after 10 mins of trying to get it to flow, it hardly comes out. Its *** so pissed, never seen an design error like it in my life! I hate the machine and will NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING ORANGE AGAIN IN MY FRICKEN LIFE. I HATE THAT DAM THING!

Sent the wrong replacement part

I was sent the wrong replacement part. Their website is confusing, it gives you the run around to find a 1-800 number and when you do find the number it doesnt give a consumer the option to talk to someone. Horrible customer service.

Defective part

seats spring are poking holes and the Ariens dealer said they would have to see the entire new mower and keep it while they returned the seat and awaited a new one ! Absurd Why cant I just get a new seat sent to me and return the defective one!

Problems with my Ariens snowblower

I purchased an Ariens Classic 24" STG E-STRT SNBL-R snowblower I had problems with it even before the warranty period was over. I still have a problem with it. I would like to discussed the details with a Customer Service, Thanks you Specialist

No real person on phone

I can't get a person on the line. It's been 40 minutes. The options on the automated line aren't helpful. It asked if I wanted them to call me when a service rep was available, and no one has called me back in two days. So I called again, and it's been 40 minutes on hold. I've only made two payments on it, and it won't start. Lowes was not very helpful either.

What good is the warranty

Front wheel bearing on my ariens edge went bad called local dealer and was told that my warranty does not cover wareable parts ? Really the only part on a mower that's not a wareable part is the frame what good is the warranty what a joke. Was then told you can't just replace the bearings you have to buy the wheel and tire. This mower will go by by after this year and I will buy a toro or scag. Pretty bad when you spend 3,000 on a mower and because they don't stand behind there product you have a year old mower that you feel you have to replace.

Pissed off

bought a new mower for $3,700 broke after 8hrs.they fixed it and now want me to pay$50.00 to bring it back to me I think that is very wrong

Manual for a ariens 306cc, electric start snowblower, model #921047, throws bsnow 50 feet

I purchased a ariens snowblower model #921047, 306cc motor from a private party that only used it twice but he had no manual for this machine. Ithas a model name of ST30DLE Deluxe and serial #057855. Could you send me the manual and any other paper work for this machine. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

I have a Ariens compact 20 I bought new in 2003 and is best snow blower I have had yet until I got my new Deluxe 24 snow blower Jan/2021. My compact 20 was very easy to use and had no issues at all with it. I decided to sell my compact 20 because winters are changing where I live and I'm getting more snow every year and the 5 hp is not keeping up with my large driveway/sidewalks now. I hated to sell compact 20 but I'm super pleased with new blower. Ariens got it right on snow blowers. Very user friendly and very.very reliable. I plan to keep this new blower for a long time! Still American made.
