With held Military Stipends
I was to receive my Military Stipend on 12/27/2018. However, due to the Christmas holiday and the Government shutdown, it was put on hold. Then, the Government shutdown was lifted for 3 weeks in January of 2019, but my stipend was never released. After multiple emails and phone calls, I was told that Argosy had implemented a new program and there are issues with it. Now my January Military Stipend is held up as well; that's 2 months of my Military Stipends being with held. All I get now is a run around when I try to get an answer as to when I will receive my Stipends! After more phone calls, I am now told by Argosy, "We apologize, we are working on it, we are not sure at this time when students will receive their Stipends".

Argosy University is a BIG SCAM
I tried to contact them about a loan that never existed, they took a Federal loan on my behalf and I asked them to return it, once I learned about this unethical so called University, after I took a first term with 2 classes, which one I got an F because they failed to help me using their system online, and I was uploading the homework late because they will take days to respond, then they forced me to take a Math class I had already taken at my community College, I was supposed to take only Psychology since they had received all my transcripts and I was admitted to get a Bachelor's in Psychology, once I learned it wasn't accredited, I instructed to return the money they had already taken for the next semester $6,000 They told me they did, and now Navient is showing I owe $2320 unsubsidized for a loan I never took or classes I never took, and Argosy didn't return all the money. They kept $2320 and now they are making me responsible for payment.

I have not spoken to anyone at Argosy but now I am receiving more calls about the money they claim i owe them, I am receiving bills in the mail, and now i am receiving notices from the fed loan people who gave the money to the college and they did not use the money for...

After I was told I would owe Argosy money and no longer able to get loans and financial aide I dropped out because i would not be able to continue without a stipend that i would not be getting. In trying to see what was in the finance documents so i can set up what ever i need to do i see my documents seem to change daily. This sort of thing happened before i was to receive a stipend in July but it was delayed until November. I don't understand why this practice. If you can help me I thank you. I think this is being done because i am due a portal refund, but with them playing with the numbers like this i will not return nor recommend this school to anyone else because of some that work in the finance department.

Cancer survivor penalized 8 credits before graduation 0
I have disability accomadations that were denied in the dissertation phase of my edd. As I asserted my need for the accommodations I was ignored, lied to, and dismissed 8 credits from graduating. After $ 60000 plus being spent in loans. Now the school has maintained after 8 years of enrollment I am unable to complete the degree. I have a 3.o gpa and because I lived from my loan money I am in a state of distress. I let them know that it is illegal for them to receive federal funding for me and not apply my accommodations. And when I asked them where is it written that my accommodations are not to be given to me during the dissertation phase of my doctorate they admitted that there was written nowhere. The more I asked for help and asked for a interview concerning my concerns that was not done. I am a cancer survivor my home caught fire in 2016 I almost died of malnutrition due to 13 surgeries. I did all these things while struggling to pass and my doctorate in organizational leadership. And now the school says that they don't think I can even finish the degree. And they let it be known that they would not work with me or accept me the next time I applied. I am a cancer survivor I used to do my homework doing chemotherapy and now I received a letter stating every negative thing that they could about my Fight For Life and graduation in these past 8 years exclusively going to Argosy University. They have ignored me and not addressed my disability needs please help me.

I'm going through the process right now. Was told a year ago I was dealing with a branch in Pittsburgh yet, phone numbers always come up as from Phoenix, Arizona. Which is why this site caught my eye. Same story as everyone else! Was lied to, now my transcripts are being held hostage for $3,200. of which I didn't even receive credit for because I dropped them. I noticed a real change after they went private again November, 2017. The instructors are now crap! I honestly believe there is some conclusion going on with some professors to flunk students. I was in a course recently, began with over 40 students, now down to 13, of which 4 of the 13, have admitted they are getting a failing grade. Some students have taken the same class two to three times without a passing grade but, their financial aid, pell grants, etc. are now drained. I have 92 credits was to graduate January 2019. Now have nothing but, debt to show for it, and no transcripts. Was on the honor roll 2017. Now I suddenly can't do a correct research paper or a discussion post. When I asked the instructor to explain her grading methods , she reported me and said she would make sure it would be part of my permanent record that she was not required to explain anything... do I hear Messiah complex? I plan to report her and the school to the APA, as well as the Board of Education, BBB... student loans.gov have had so many complaints they can barely keep up. Now I hear about a settlement for a lawsuit for 3.3 million? These people are thieves plan and simple. They are no better than any other white collar thief. Why haven't they had to close their doors? Why are they allowed to remain operating? Oh that's right, don't we have someone in Washington DC run the same scam? Yeah seemed to have worked for them!
