After being a customer for 33 years I get the worst treatment possible from Aqua!

My water was shut off 21/2 weeks ago while I was in surgery on my back. My wife and I got home to our Raleigh house with no water. The customer representative I spoke with today said I shouldnt have been told that there would be another shutoff. My payments to Aqua for years have been going to Bryn Mawr, PA. She informed me that the billing office had always been in Philadelphia, PA. I find this very strange that for all these years there had never been a problem.

My water was shut off with no warning! The address for where payments were to be sent was changed with absolutely no notification to me.

I don't owe you anything! Why are you still bothering me about payment. It's absolutely no wonder why your ratings are terrible, because they are deserved! I wish I had an alternative!

Payment

SI called and found out what the amount owed by my phone number. But then in order to make the payment, I need the account number. They did not offer the account number even after locating it by using my phone number WTH If you have my balance owed on my first bill I might add, it should accept payment without any more info needed.

Water line cut

HI called last week of June to start service on our address and today July 11 they cut off our water. I just moved in the address?! And wth ! No warning ?! We didnt have water at all ! I didnt even have the customer number yet !

Sewer rates are too high

Received outlandish bill with no explanation then could not contact them to inquire why. Bill sent by email with no explanation of rates.

Ride Notification

I wish I had another company to go to. I pay my bill via automatic payment ever month but they sent me a shut off notification because they want to replace my meter. Hey idiots, how about calling my phone number that you told me you have on file to verify who I am. This company is the worst. I wish I could leave.

I put the order in back in mid February

The first thing was the technician called me the day after I put the order in to say he was there, I had to explain that it wasnt scheduled until the 3rd of March. I called today and was told I was on an all day appointment and there would be a 30 min call ahead of time. I waited until 430 on and then tried calling customer service again and couldnt get passed an automated system. I wasted an entire day waiting for someone to show up and never even received a courtesy call to let me know they couldnt make it

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED

Our water company SOLD US OUT to Aqua in Oakbrook Illinois. My water bill was $99.00 every 2 months, NOW my water bill is $129.00 EVERY month. I immediately started using less water, and my bill the first month went down to $89. The second month it went up to $129 and I use less than I did the first month. I use to take 1/2 hour showers, now I wash up b/4 I turn the water on and rinse off which takes 2 min, & I now only wash cloths twice a month. So what the *** is going on!!!

Payment posted into wrong account

Please call me at the earliest as i have not been helped yet. I called 3 times but they say they have done it but still no help ... and i should not be responsible for late fee now as its a delay on aquas end

We have not had any water for 48 hours with no explaination.

They have told us several different stories. The emergency line representative told us there is a main break, but it would be back on by 1am this morning. It now 3:52pm and still no water. When we call, they tell us they are no longer taking any call concerning outages. It has been off since 3 pm Monday the 26th of December

Shutoff Notice

I made a bank payment in the amount of $99 on 12/1/22. It was not credited to my account. THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE AND RESULTED IN A P.U.C. INVESTIGATION.

No person to talk to. need my water shut off to repair shut off valve and can't get a live person on the phone.

Call customer service and can only talk to robot, can't get a live agent and to have my water shut off for repairs is not an option.

Aqua is the worst

They charge hundreds of dollars for terrible water. They have horrible costumer service if you can get ahold of them. No one should have to pay this much for water, end of story.

Billing is always difficulty

Aqua don't process the payment on time and but Aqua send you 10 shut off notice immediately to scare you. Some times it takes a month to process the payment. Even better, Aqua customer service blames the bank because I always use my bank's bill pay service, or the fault of postal service. Odds thing is some accounts from Aqua is always on time
