You reccomended Choice Home Warrenty they are a horrible company to work with they are a night mare you should not be associated with them

I have a clothes dryer that broke. They said great news, we are going to replace your dryer with a gift card of 335.00dollars. The dryer cost 750.00 dollars, Lowes which the gift card is for does not have a dryer for that price. They said that's their wholesale price. I said fine, get us one for your wholesale price, they said no. We are stuck without a dryer and not enough money for a new one, they are all hype and hot air in advertising.

Appointment

Made appointment for cleaning servie with angi, recieved notice that it was scheduled vfor 9/3. Was called back by angi to move to 9/6. Received email that said it was scheduled with Maid Pro for 8/31. No one showed up. Called Maid Pro and they said they were never contacted by angi. Called angi back and they said some guy named Hector was scheduled to clean. When I asked what company, they couldn't tell me.

Excellent service.

I had no power to my trailer. I am on oxygen therapy and need power. Brandon White was the electrician that was referred. He had another job to complete and didn't know how long he would be. Mr. White completed his job and came out to help me at 10 pm that night. He was very curious and completed the job in a timely manor. I would gladly refer him to anyone in my area looking for an electrician.

Worst customer service ever

I was supposed to have a account representative for the first 30 days after about a week I had problems with 8 out of the 10 leads Im getting leads people think that Im gonna do a whole roof for them because of Covid I spend $200 on the lead and try to get credit back for it and they denied my credit Nana Im just one about $1000 worth of leads And you cant get no one on the phone to talk to and figure it out So they charge you for it and now it will probably go on my credit because I cant get anyone to answer the phone and talk to me They tell me hold on theyre going to transfer me to a manager and just hang up

Avoid Angi List

Avoid Angi. We tried them a second time as a vendor, and our second experience was worst from the first. Poor customer service/support. They were unable to properly set up our company for the correct services we do and do not do. The were unable to rectify an issue of listing our company in cities and counties we do not service. Angi hounded us for a couple of weeks for us to call clients to go to Angi and leave reviews (we ha over 30 reviews). Customer service issues with Angi would either not be completed, or we were told they were unable to help. It took over three weeks to cancel after numerous calls. When they tell you a rep will call you back within 48hours, do not hold your breath, we had to call them back after not hearing from them in seven days. After finally cancelling, they billed our card over $400. We received no invoice, nor email explaining the charges. Again , we had to call them for an explanation. Avoid Anji like the plague.not use Anji or Angies ListDo

Missed Appointments

I had a few good experiences but had had a number of contractors either not show up for scheduled appointments or not respond to verify appointments. I submitted negative reviews for some of these and Angi did not post them. It looks like they only want positive reviews to skew things

Home Advisor should DROP ANGIE

Home Advisor Should DROP ANGIE LIST.ALL ANGIE LIST WANTS IS MONEY, and they don't event care if the job gets done the run the price up by charging the contractor before he even gets the job, and they charge the customer a fee before they even get an estimate because the contractor has to pass the cost on to the price of The job. I CANCELED my Angie's List and went Home Advisor Now she has come over her with her Lousy Service!

Money Dedicted from checking account in advance; and no technician showed up

A confusing trio of contacts merged in this communication. I thought I booked some household electrical repairs through Angie's List. Turns out (they say) the booking was through HomeAdvisor (powered by Angi) &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; the contractor was booked by HANDY. Although the electrician called the day before the service was to be done, she never showed up the next day nor did she call to explain the "no show." Was "pissed" because major $$ had been deducted from MY account. Had to call and ask for refund. Still waitFuture ing for $$$

Vendor Complaint

Used Angie's for the first time 3 years ago and paid for the "repairs" that were done. One year later the same problem happened again and was "resolved" for free. A year later (2021) the same problem reoccurred and I was informed, my warranty had expired a week prior to my call for the same problem. To say I am disappointed and annoyed would be an understatement. This time to resolve the same issue the cost was $150. I never realized my job was a "training " project for their technicians.................beware.

Paid them hundreds of dollars with little to no jobs in my area of expertise

The high pressure phone call that sounded so wonderful was out of the blue. The "verbal promises" were so impressive, he said I would be getting jobs at the rate of $24,000/month (approximately). At some point I agreed to the $300 that I had to pay right then. So no, I did not see anything written down. I did not realize until I got an email that it was for $300/month for a year with an automatic renewal. I was just hearing all his fantastic promises about all the work I would be getting. The emails were very clear about what I owed but there was no mention about all the work I would be getting. About all the reviews, I was told later that the more reviews I had the better, he said get my friends and family to help write me reviews. So when you see a company with 100 reviews does not mean they did 100 real jobs. And the bad reviews can be deleted. I have only had one job request that fit my abilities. I have attached the email sent, not until I received it did I realize I signed up for a year contract. Thank you for listening and God Bless, Brent Cowles Attachments area

We suspect that we have been robbed by one of your members by the name of 'Unique Boat Concepts'.

To recover my antique sofa, I was looking for an upholsterer 'near me' on the web, and Angie's List came up with the name of a boat repair, upholsterer, etc., and this company was the only name provided. So I reached out to the owner, Rene Humnell (SP). When he called in response to my inquiry he explained that even though boats were his specialty, he also did furniture. In fact he seemed quite excited about the idea. He enthusiastically offered, even asked if he could, reupholster our antique couch. He picked the couch up approximately three + weeks ago with the promise to have it back this coming weekend. We had heard nothing from him after he got the couch, (plus over $800 in fabric and a $1,000 down payment.) Not hearing from him, I started out last Tuesday by leaving him a message on the same phone number we conversed with each other on a regular basis while I shopped for the fabric. I didn't get a response so I texted. Still no response. Next day I called, and not hearing back from him, again, I asked my husband to call and leave a message. That was last night. Still no response. This afternoon I left another voice mail. Still no response. This evening my husband left another message. No response as of this time, 9:55 p.m. The website doesn't give any information about the company, address, phone number, not the name of the owner. I can't believe I didn't do more due diligence, but now here we are, out money, no couch. Can you please help us track him down? I trust you have more information that will hopefully help us find him. Thanks in advance for your assistance! Arloa Molstad, 952-442-****. My email is: arloamolstad@***.com

Questionable Charging Practices

BEWARE OF ANGIES LIST! My second attempt to contact them: Some time ago I contacted you requesting a refund on the $29 I was charged completely without my agreement. I have not used your service or agreed to payment (or been charged for it) for over 10 years - I only loaded the app onto a new phone! If this money is not refunded in 14 days, I will use every legal recourse available to me, including leaving warnings of your poor customer service on the Apple App Store,&;;;;;;;; every other consumer site & review forum on the Internet. I did customer service my entire life. Angies List is a service which depends entirely on consumer trust & goodwill, & what youre doing is is an entirely unacceptable practice. If you ARE better, then DO better, & refund my money, & stop summarily charging people. This is a crisis time, a pandemic, & it may not seem like much to you, but for a senior on a fixed income $29 is a lot of money. Do the right thing, refund my money, & be more careful & transparent about your charges in the future! And just as an aside, for all that you charge, your website & app have virtually NOTHING in the way of Help or Customer Contact content: I had to search a 3rd party site to be able to contact you, which is negligent customer service. Just refund my money, please.
