To speak with manement

The stay at the hotel wasn't good at all they had rats running all around in front of the hotel. Next morning when we had breakfast the lady from kitchen when she brought the food out she didn't have any gloves or hair net on. The day attendant & the lady from the kitchen was standing out the back door smoking a cigarette unstantion. This hotel is in Gun Barrel City,Tx

Room requested was not available. Fresh towels and toilet paper not provided daily. Many staff do not speak English. No closets to hang up clothes.

I reserved and paid for a regular im that is handicapped accessible.?None were available, even though I had confirmed ahead of time. Only 1 washcloth for 2 people for 4days! The pull- out couch in the suite had no sheets. l

Charged for a room I didn't receive and was treated really bad costumer service was awful

I asked Three times about my room and no one could explain until I checked out and was treated poorly for there mistake

Bad experience

I have been at this location before. And never have I been spoken to like that just because I question about the room being in a bad way. When I suggested they cover for another night they got very rude and said we're the ones that dirted the room with (Bed Bugs) Then I was told to get out. Just never had someone speak that way at a place of business.

Harassment & Nonrefund

I paid for a week stay last Sunday or Monday ? Beginning of July. I & my service dog have stayed a week before they up charged $200 more for the Faster Horses concert . I went to renew my room 41, freezer I had to unplug to unthaw because the door wouldnt shut. There were flys & gnats in the room. Funky strong odor. Trash under the beds ,wrappers, old food, crumbs . That was MINIMAL as I would find out later . Upon renewing my room it was already sold so I had to be moved into a different room. 206. I was told it would be cleaned prior to moving in. I was told it was a one bed room. It was a two bed kitchenette. The room was absolutely filthy!!! Condom wrappers , used condoms , food debris , cereal , bugs ants and cockroaches, flys , gnats , spiders . The floor wasnt vacuumed or swept , the title was sticky , the laminated wood looked caked with dried liquid substance. The mold in the bathroom along the trim , rim of the toilet, the bath tub. Awful Oder. Black & green residue everywhere. The tub in 411 did not drain properly at all but it looked maybe half way decent more than room 206 . The room 206 had a worse smell. I paid $600 NONREFUNDABLE for this poor quality room. The staff was aggressively rude. The young man called me a stupid B* for complaining about the condition of the room. He refused me my refund. He refused to call his manager . I called the cops who could only talk to them not force them to give me my money back. Once the manager came onto property she did not bother to talk to me herself . She offered no apology or issued no repercussions to her awful front desk man. She asked to see paperwork on my service animal & if I declined which I have the right to do. As she is a registered service animal, I would have to pay a pet fee or leave. My service dog has an ID card. By Federal law I am NOT obligated to show any proof to anyone that she is a service animal. She said I couldnt have my pit bull on premises. I corrected her . My dog is a purebred AKC recognized American Staffordshire terrier . The woman insists that now also terriers are banned from their property & that I had to pay a pet fee. I corrected her again, I do NOT ever pay for my service animal . Not on a plane, train, subway, ferry, taxi , not to stay in any hotel & she may go everywhere I go as she is trained by me for me & my medical conditions. The lady then insisted that I pay a pet fee for my service dogs pups . She was pregnant & gave birth earlier than expected . I was to pay $350 for the puppies who cannot see, barley move , nurse & sleep all day In the containment of a kiddie pool I blew up & had my own blankets in. $50 per pup. 7 pups, I sent my roommate to negotiate with this hardheaded woman . Who told my roommate that I was not allowed in her office ?? I was verbally attacked by her employee earlier this same morning in which I called the police. I am to leave without my $600 .. $500. Cash . $100 on debit card . Or remove my puppies .my service dog now may stay but her 8 day old puppies who cannot be left unsupervised for longer than an hour or separated from their mother have to go or she will kick us out & still Not given my money back. The room is dirty looking from the outside to the inside . The cockroaches keep coming out of the cracks & crevices of this run down room. All other hotels are booked out due to this 3 day country concert . I work in Jackson I do not live in Jackson. Hence why I got a room . But now I regret it terribly . I am an Army Veteran & this is how I am treated . The manager called the police on me & lied to them telling them that I was belligerent & disrespectful & I never was. They can run the cameras back . I asked several times for my money back. I was cursed at, yelled at, the young man about 63 I am 52 , I was told I should not have signed the paper I was given to sign upon check in . The lady was kinder to my roommate who is of a more fair complexion than I , she is white & black but you cant tell shes mixed with black. Me, however , I am black , Mexican, Indian & Korean . I am light brown skin . I also have many visible tattoos . . I have never been looked at with so much disgust or treated such a way . I made a complaint to customer service representative who escalated this matter to corporate *** I will have to wait 7 business days to hear back. If I am not refunded my money, apologized to, & that young man terminated I will have a lawyer ESCALATE this matter . I have never been so disappointed, disrespected or felt more disgusted in my years !!! The negative reviews online hold true for this Jackson location unfortunately. The outside

Confused

Horrible service and room. Didnt even receive a receipt. Front desk over charged me. Front desk was also very discriminatory towards my partner and I. Room was covered in black mold, and blood on the bed sheets which we only had the base cover for, towels, walls, and pillows. My partner had bedbug bites as well. Very upsetting.

Horrible service and filth in room

Black mold in room, blood on sheets, pillows, and towels. Then also pubic hair and cigarette burns all over the bed. Also front desk worker was horribly mean and over charged me. When I called back he refused to discuss my overcharge. Was incredibly homophobic. My partner was bitten by bed bugs as well. Front desk would not hear any of this and told me to call back the next day.

Checked in around 3 pm. Put our stuff in the room and went to get something to eat. Got back around 7 pm. When checking in I used a credit card and they asked for a 50 dollar cash deposit and refused

To give me a receipt. In the room we caught a bug about 2-3 inches in length. Took it to front desk and informed them I wanted money and deposit back because I was going somewhere else. They said that they would have to charge me for a full night when we weren't in room for an hour. I told them I wanted a full refund and they refused Finally they said they would give me full refund on my card but would keep deposit. Finally they kept 20 in cash they said for housekeeping. I was so frustrated by then I took my 30 dollars and left. I feel I should have gotten a full refund but I think it was wrong and they should have to give receipts for proof Will never stay there. But we had a good experience in your malvern location.

Hotel was unsafe couldn’t secure the door to room. Door had been kicked in.

I only spent 3 minutes in the room. It was too filthy and nasty . The owner wouldnt refund my money. I left and went got a room at the Hampton. The picture on American Best Value Inn are false advertising. Rooms are gross. My bathroom had 1 towel that was supposed to be white, it was brown. The maid they had was truly a crackhead. In front of the room owner had gave me there was a crackhead sitting on the curb rocking back and forth.. Do Not Stay Here.

To speak with management

I'm elderly, traveling with a service dog. I was called a liar and refused accommodations when I tried to register a room, then told I can stay if I pay double cash deposit. I was unable to reach a manager after 3 business days of trying. I'm done here.

Quality of location

BefThe overall experience left a lot to be desired. The location appeared abandoned until the last day when the location was mowed. The bathtub drain didn't exist the only way to take a bath was to use the one washcloth provided to stop the drain. For the 2 days we were there only 1 towel and 1 washcloth was provided. The location didn't have ice buckets. There was no coffee maker in the room. The microwave in the room didn't work. The vending machines were out of order. The lobby furniture was falling apart. At.one point I was in the lobby trying to make a phone call and the desk clerk was on the phone yelling into it and I had to ask him to quiet down so I could here my own call. Although the pool was marked closed it was very dirty and appeared dilapidated with trees growing in the pool works. Most of the doors were locked, except for the one by the pool which had no locks attached so anybody could walk in at any ttime.

Refund complaint

I rented a room on 5/30/23 , woke up around 5 a.m with bites on my neck arms and back, lifted my pillow and seen 2 bed bugs, I pulled the covers off the bed to find more bed bugs under the cover and around the mattress .. asked the front desk about a refund and was told to wait til next week.. I would just like a refund because my stay there was not the best experience!!

I feel that these people are very racist

After staying for 5 days I wanted to rent in the room for one more night and I was told that I was on the do not rent list for breaking a TV and smoking in the room but I have been there three times before and never been told that stayed a whole week and was never told that so I needed to rent the room for another night. As far as the week's day went nobody came to our room and asked if we need to clean towels or anything like that or asked if we needed our garbage taken out so we put up on ourselves to bring our own towels and take our own garbage out the place was great because of the location but not because of the staff. And on top of it all I was never given a receipt for staying

Refund

I purchased a room and the lady who's name she said was Terry she said she was the manager.i went into the room and it was horrible it stunk, nasty, the pillows were filthy they didn't have no pillow covers over them. The TV. Did not work it cam on but it didn't show any channels. The sink, tub was stopped up. I got ate by bed bugs or something. I went back to the front desk after awhile and told the lady about the room and that Im not paying for a room that I can't watch TV in or shower in .I told her what an I supposed to do sit in a room all day in silence .she was rude, onry and unprofessional.she refused to give me a refund so I asked for cooperate number, I asked for customer service number, and ask for the owners number she said she wasn't giving me nobody's number and shut the window in my face and walked off . The pictures of the rooms they show on they web site looks nothing like the rooms there and that is false advertising. If I don't get my refund back I will be having my lawyer contact y'all. Those rooms are unacceptable especially for 72$

Bed bugs

Dear Sirs, As booking.com replied back to me, that you wanted to be compensated for this stay due to unmet expectations. It appears that the persons running, Americas Best Value Inn at 609 FM1960 Road West, Houston, Tx 77090 has some very poor customer service. To correlate the issue I had, I would ask: If you had a bad or spoiled piece of meat from the market wouldn't, you want a full refund? Wouldn't the manager or butcher offer you a full refund? with full sympathies for what happened and no questions asked? Is it not the practice to make customers happy? To win them over as customers and put a smile on their face from stressful life situations. That has always been the normal of the past here in America. That has always been the tradition. It is not how much we can get over and cheat a customer. A true American Company or business makes their customers smile. I recently rented a room from your company on March 27th at the above listed address. First we were given a room that had a gas-ley smell. No problem, We asked to be moved. The desk then gave us the room right next door. We went to dinner and got back a bit late. When we got back to the room, my wife indicated that she wiped off the sheets of black spots 2 or 3 times. I immediately pulled up the side of the sheets. The seams of the bed mattress was filled with bed bugs. This is what you call a spoiled room folks. Not just part of it. I took pictures right away and then told my wife to pack up to get out of there. The bed is what we were really there for and needed. We had a flight to catch that morning to go back home. We could not get out of there fast enough. We knew that the room could infect everything we had with us. We checked out at approx 12:30 am. Told the girl at the front desk and I asked who was the Manager to call to straighten out and call later. The girl gave me the NAME: Sanjana and phone number 281-866-**** on a piece of paper. She seemed very sympathetic for the situation. After being back home a few days to let the charges clear on my credit card I made several attempts to contact Sanjana. Just a couple days now on April 3rd after calling 2 times, I finally got a call back. The person would not identify himself. I asked if he was the manager several times during the conversation. The individual offered me a partial pay-back $40 of $63.52 that showed on my credit card charge. That was not acceptable to me and he said that is all he would pay back. It went back and forth until I asked again if he were the manager. He said no. I then said I have nothing further to discuss with him and hung up. To me this was unacceptable. The room was spoiled. It was unfit to be in and not what was expected when booking this room. It was totally un-professional and now I have to rely on whom-ever gets this complaint to make it right. The un-identified person would not give his name or title. In my opinion and being involved in Customer Service all my life. This is not how you treat your customers. This person needs training or should not be in this type of job. I am hopeful that your company has some honor and respect to deal with this issue in a professional and respectful way and grant my request for a full refund. I didn't ask for anything additional, except that the ones in charge of that facility be given training in dealing with customers. Not to try and bid someone down in a cost when it was clearly the property's fault. One last point. It is also not the fault of the consumer when a room or any other product is offered for a lower price than what they offer at the property for rent. For all I know, this property is giving spoiled rooms to customers that book by 3rd party means. This is a health problem that I'm sure to be a big hazard for your business having bed bugs.
