Non-delivery of purchased mattress

To whomever may receive this email, I purchased a Queen Ghostbed Elite Hybrid on the 31st of August for delivery on September 21st. I purchased this 15-days out, so that should any problems arise, there was more than enough time to reschedule. I even went back into the store, 24hrs. prior, and spoke to Jeremiah, my original salesman, to verify that the previously scheduled delivery was still a go, was told it was, and that my delivery window was from 3:15-5:15. With that time frame, I only needed to take 1/2 day off work, and was home by 1:15, awaiting my new mattress purchase. I received my 1st text (205) 736-**** @ 11:08 confirming my delivery window was still scheduled between 03:15-05:15. The text I received came @ 5:23 - the obligatory "30-minutes" out/in route phone call. Next thing I know, I am calling/texting the number I got the initial text from (317) 628-****, to get a new ETA for my big-ticket purchase...and here I sit @ 9:21 no mattress and no information as to what happened regarding my mattress being delivered!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

They liE! to me they NEVER EVER! Gave me anything that they trying to rip my money off from me!!! Its not happening. They said the stores are closed to due to COVID-19 and the return policy is extended so dont worry about we ever the stores get back open we will do what ever you would like us to do! Even when I was in the store and buying the mattress they said to me if Im not satisfied with in 120 days Ill have the option of exchange or REFUND! So if they said that why they trying to give me the run around. They are CON! They trying rip my money off! Im not happy it did not workout so I want to RETUN AND GET MY MONEY BACK!!! I will not stop until I let the world know how you guys trying to rip me off my money. They never gave me the return policy so why your going back from what you had promised to me? ONE VERY IMPORTANT thing. NEVER DEAL WITH TONYA, MERABETH AND RUTH the sore manager on Lincoln and Peterson they are all working together to give you run about and waist your time frame.

The WORST customer service experience.

Where do I start? I had the WORST customer service EVER! by so call the managers that work there. I bought mattress of course the store on Lincoln and Peterson in Chicago and they clearly said to me if Im not satisfied with in 120 days I can get ether exchange or full refund just pay the fee of picking up and never gave me anything in written so I trusted there word. Now wen it did not workout I wanted to just give me my money back as they promised. So now Im being bounced around between Tanya the finance manager and Merabeth who I have no idea whats her roll in this and never mind the store manager she was the WORST! Person to deal with and after they gave me the run around and said to me just so they can waist my time frame or returning they told me not to worry the stores arent open due to COVID-19 so they have extended the return and not to worry! Now the the stores are open they still have not reach out to me after many atem call to them they dont even have the human disancy to call me. THEY ATE IGNORING MY CALLS. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!! I was willing to work with them but what theyve been doing to me I dont want so any business with them ANYMORE!

DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM AMERICAN MATTRESS

We bought a mattress from American mattress about 4 weeks ago, it is already sagging, and dipping . My husband and I are 73 years old, we went back to the store we purchased from and told them, they told us to take pictures of it and bring them the pictures so they can look at them. It is not our place to take pictures and run up and down the road when they could send someone out themselves to look at this and get it resolved. They advertise 120 nights happy guarantee , we are not happy and they are not holding up to what they advertise.

Disappointed with sales representative and manner of business done. not standing for there own words

we bought. Tempur-Pedic. mattress from american mattress store in elk grove village . we where given a wrong product instead of giving luxe-breeze soft; we where given luxe breeze firm . they discounted price for luxebreeze firm. we didnt like this bed but the representative is not willing to exchange the bed and is being very rude and unprofessional about the approach. he wants us to pay full price for temper-pedic mattress with no additional benefits. we are disappointed with the attitude by which american mattress operates. we want to return this mattress and honour the temper-pedic warranty of 90 days .date purchase 8/23/2019. temper-pedic has 90 days to call me back and fix my issues and so does the american mattress

Questions on ordering an RV mattress

Cannot sleep soundly on the new bed

Here it is. 3:45am, and the SECOND time I have had to get up tonight. I made the mistake of buying a new bed from American Mattress in Springfield, Oregon in the middle of January. I went to several other stores before deciding upon "locally owned" American Mattress. Every other store I went to had a free 90 night trial included with the purchase of a new bed. I returned to American Mattress in mid-February to "discuss my options" as I am being forced to get up and sit in my recliner to stretch out my lower back at least once per night. The clerk was adamant about their 14 day warranty, and said there wasn't anything they could do. So here I sit S.O.L. in the middle of the night, because I made the mistake of buying the most uncomfortable bed I have ever owned from American Mattress. Do yourself a favor: AVOID AMERICAN MATTRESS WHEN CONSIDERING A NEW BED PURCHASE!!

Sales representative expertise

I purchased a queen size mattress form Blake Las, your salesman at 131st and LaGrange rd in Orland Park Illinois today and was really impressed with his knowledge of his products. Blake had me try out several mattresses that would fit my needs since I recently had back surgery for a herniated disc. He carefully explained the benefits of each mattress and the benefits they have for my specific needs. Being a sales person for 45 years I appreciated his expertise and his patience with me rather than pressuring me to into buying a mattress before attempting to leave the store. Sales people with experience such as Blake has acquired over the years is the biggest asset that your company has to offer your customers since you basically carry the same inventory as your competitors.

Totally unprofessional

We bought 2 mattresses and an adjustable bed frame from the newly opened Orland Park store on 131st and LaGrange. The salesman was quick to charge our credit card but when it came to a small refund it took him 14 days and 3 personal visits to the store. Despite of promising a timely delivery he rescheduled and delayed the delivery of the mattresses with improper notification. It took 10 days to get the mattresses!!! When we tried to order a set of brackets for the headboard he came up with more excuses and delays. His excuses were the fact that the store is new, the computers did not work etc. Ended up getting the brackets on line. I would never set foot back to your store !!!! Sincerely, Dora Vasdekas

Terrible experience

We bought a mattress from American Mattress. We were told we had 100 day sleep guareentee. The mattress was a mess within 2 months. We tried to return it but No we could only get a different mattress and oay the difference So we asked for warrenty return. After a really long time and many phone calls, they are giving us a new one , but we have to pick it up and return our old one. Keep in mind it didn’t last 4 months. We are elderly and my husband is a disabled Vietnam veteran. We don’t have any way of getting it. I would never wish dealing with them on my worse enemy.

Split King

What ever you do, do not buy a split king from this company. I made that mistake and will never buy from them again. The two XL twin mattress separate 3"at times and they are so uncomfortable. The cording on the mattress is dropped down which makes them separate and there is nothing we can do to make them fit together. I complained to our salesman and he said they all do that. We visited another mattress store and their mattresses fit together tight. With a flat sheet a thick blanket and bedspread you can easily see the V where they separate. You can see the indentation in the picture. Would anyone want to sleep on this?

NEVER SHOP THERE

Well my queen mattress was sagging,lumpy /....paid for inspection 60 bucks...denied cause i didnt have a matching box spring the box spring had a stain on it(not bought from them) saggin on the ends saggin in the middle but they say mattress fine....i will not shop there no more warranty scams...i can come in and get a discount..i dont wanna be bother i would like my money back and go elsewhere..mattress is less than a year old....my box spring had no support bull...my used mattress lasted 7 years with no saggin....heed my warning shop else where.bought this garbage in Portage Indiana.its crazy you have to pay these idiots for inspection 60 bucks they dont tell you that until you have probles or issues....mattress didnt even have a manufacturing tag

Warranty Scam

Time to replace mattress & foundation. Original items with frame bought at American Mattress. After 7 months, with only one person sleeping in this Queen mattress ($1200) the sides developed large ripples. Filed a claim at a cost of $60. Independent Inspector would not give me copy of physical findings. I knew company would make final decision. After 3 weeks, not heard from store. They could not find paperwork. Finally, told me that I did not qualify because my frame did not have a leg in middle for support. Now the frame had 6 legs and double steel bar in center. Bed not sagging in the middle. Their reply is that it could cause the outer rippling and I did not have the proper frame. REALLY?
