I’m an idiot!

I paid in advance on a promise that I would receive a Joshua MK5. I never got one and got shafted out of $1200.00. I hope wherever Ryan Kraft is, he is suffering from a severe toothache and painful hemmrhoids.

Cheated as well!

Amendment Arms sold the manufacturing of a rifle to me as a work in progress, be patient, it will happen. It never did and one time during late 2015 I was able to speak to the manager Tom Wise. He told me to follow up with this fellow Ryan. I have a total of $1300.00 invested and paid an additional amount for some updating. The website is still up but no one answers the phone or responds to mail, so obvious I and who knows how many others have been taken for a ride, a costly one, with no good results. These crooks use the Bible with the Joshua name, well, may God strike them as hard as He can. Karl M. Topp DieWelt@***.com

Looking to share info with other people who were scammed by Ryan Croft

I am also a victim of the Amendment Arms scam. As I've looked around I've found that Ryan Croft has pulled scams in the past as well - Amendment Arms is not the first scam he has done. He is also onto his next scam. In any case, I'm looking to invite people to share their experiences and information about Ryan Croft & Co at https://ryancroftscams.wordpress.com/. If you have time, I greatly encourage you to come and check it out - I just started it out, so there isn't a ton of information on there at this very moment.

Ripped off by Amendmend Arms

I ordered a Joshua MK5 rifle on Jan. 25,2013 and paid $1013.45. The full price for the rifle. They then sent out an updated new barrel option for the rifle, so I paid another $160. for the upgrade. Never received any thing from them, I called and talked to Rayn said it would be shipped in 30 days this was Nov. 2014. Never was shipped, later they had reported suppliers were behind on getting their parts to them. In Feb. 2015, their come out with more upgrades so I ordered them also for another $540. Shortly after that I talked to Ryan and he said mine was in the new group. Then never heard anymore !!! Here I have a signed contract thats not worth nothing. Any suggestion?

Another MK5 never delivered

My $890.00 has gone the way of disappearing as apparently so has Ryan Croft. My Joshua MK5 rifle was ordered and paid for over two years ago but only excuses given as to why no delivery. Several phone calls and texts went unanswered until a pm on facebook from Croft saying they were doing the best they could, had moved, equipment lost, etc. It is especially upsetting that Laura and Ryan Croft presented themselves as "Christians" having used the name for the rifle from the Bible and other biblical references. The best I can offer at this point is "Caveat Emptor".

Ripped of by Amendment Arms

Ordered a Joshua MK 5 with the 1-8 twist ($160 extra). Received a rifle with the standard barrel 1-7 twist instead (per 2 separate gunsmiths). Very disappointing in that I waited almost 2 years for it to get ripped off by them. Not to mention the packaging issues when I received it.It looks like they are out of business. Ryan's mistake was trusting tom to run the business (into the ground)while he (told me) he kept a hands off approach to running his own company, and waited too long to try to turn things around.Considering all this Amendment Arms probably did not deserve to survive.I talked to Ryan 6 months ago about the issue and was given a bunch of excuses.I wonder how many other customers did not get the match barrel they paid for.I will never again order a product from a new company starting out with no current product to sell. Big mistake!! Shame on you Amendment Arms.

Amendment Arms....RUN do not walk AWAY from this company

I was one of the first 50 purchasers of the Joshua Mk 5 in 2013 based in part from a review from Tim Brown. Unfortunately, it was a case of "too good to be true". Over the next three plus years, I kept getting delays...excuses....but NEVER my PAID IN FULL rifle. The Crofts intimated that Tom Wise was fired for embezzlement, but that said, the Crofts are no longer replying to emails or phone calls....and based on other "victims" comments are now trying to evade being served for small claims court. Their website is STILL ACTIVE....but DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from them. You WILL LOSE your money.

Afraid I lost $890

I paid $890 for the Joshua MK5 in January 2013 with the expectation that it would be delivered in May 2013. The contract also specified that if a customer paid the full amount when ordering, then the customer would get a $40 rebate each year for 5 years ($200 total). I emailed to find out more info on the $200 trigger upgrade and to ask why I did not receive a rebate last year. It seems they have many upgrades from barrels, triggers, grips, finish, etc., that they are trying to sell. It's like they are saying that the current rifle is not a good product and if you really want a good gun, you should pay them $1,100 more. The General Manager, Tom Wise, told me that my rifle is about to ship in the next 30-45 days (I've heard that before), and that I need to pay $98.45 taxes and $65 for shipping. The contract specifies the shipping is anticipated to be $20 for parcel post and $40 for priority mail. Here is his answer on the trigger upgrade: "The optional Trigger Job is a polishing process. I can have Ryan call and explain it to you better if you like." But now Ryan is too busy to call because they have a rush this week. I only asked what the pull weight is and nobody can answer that. Here is his answer on the rebates: "The rebates are delayed until we have better cash flow. All our money is in production right now." Here is his answer on shipping costs: "Sorry, Thomas, we don't have $20 or $40 options anymore. We were losing money on the shipping, and we're not making anything as it is. Thanks for understanding." Since then, I received a couple of apologetic emails from Rebecca Croft and she said they wouldn't be sending any refunds out before Aug 2015. It is now September 2015, and I still haven't received a refund or a reply to my emails since June 2015. I'm surprised to see their website is still up and it has been updated with some professional looking pictures. But that just means that they are still taking money from people. Next step: Small claims court.

Admendment Arms Joshua MK5

Buyer Beware! My son gave cold hard cash for the Joshua rifle ( http://amendmentarmsinc.com/ ) to be delivered in August-September. No delivery. Every phone call and e-mail was answered the same-- going out next week. As of Dec-31 still no rifle and a promise - it's scheduled to go out next week or tomorrow. Requested a refund as contract states and apparently they don't have the money to give him the refund. Looks like he will have to go to small claims court to get any money back. I would only use CC to purchase from these guys. At least you will have some protection in case of non-delivery. After my son's experience, I personally would not do business with this company.

Amendment Arms BEWARE!!

Apparently I'm not the only one who has waited patiently for a product that does not seem that will never be completed, six months after payment I requested a refund. My gut instinct told me that no one would set up a business model this bad by accepting people's money and continue to accept money and still cannot seem to come up with a completed project. After requesting a refund I waited a month and heard nothing from them. Is that not plenty of time to give someone? After contacting them again I received a check in the mail for 200$...stating they are "short this month". The refund amount is suppose to be 1013.45!!! If a company cannot issue a full refund this makes me question just exactly what type of business practice is going on here because money is going in but no product or the ability to issue a full refund is going out. I must admit I feel duped but I will not lie down or roll over or pray that I will get money back. A paper and legal trail must be left behind so no else has to go through this. If anything Amendment Arms needs to be encouraged to produce a more sound and professional business model.

Amendment arms inc is a scam Ryan croft has been stealing money for years from people for this project and lots of us paid in and have nothing to show for it but empty wallets!

I paid over 1000 dollars for a Joshua rifle a year ago and have nothing to show for it after researching Ryan croft I found numerous people across numerous fields and industries that he has ran similar scams in the past! You know its bad when you call random manufacturers in close proximity and they all have horror stories to tell you! Buyer beware I want people to understand that they need to be very suspicious of this guy I was at a gun show in Greenville sc last week and found lots of people that had complaints about Ryan and no one that has anything good to say.
