No one answered the phone. I was on the phone for long time

Bad customer service. I was on hold for very long time. No one answered my phone call. This is very unfortunate.

Unresponsive agents

I couldnt have had a worse experience than the experience I had with Allstate. Specifically the Allstate at 625A Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY headed by Michele Kitterle. I never spoke with her directly but her agents were unprofessional and unresponsive. Any time there were changes to my policy I was never notified. Most notably, when I was dropped from the carrier I was never notified other than a notice from the DMV stating my registration and license would be suspended because I was uninsured. But dont worry they will tell you they sent it all out even if you dont receive anything as was my case. All of the notifications were sent out but miraculously I never received one, not even a phone call. I would stay far away from Allstate and especially the office of Michele Kitterle

Not getting results getting run around

I called for roadside service and have been waiting for over 8 hours. I was given several bogus ETAs and I'm still waiting. I cannot get a live All-State person on the phone no matter what number I try. I always get automated choices that do not apply to my situation. You're definitely NOT in good hands with All-State. This is beyond frustrating!Do D

I'M VERY UPSET, I WILL DROP ALLSTATE

I was working daily with my fantastic Allstate Agent, We were working on some changes with my Auto policy. She contacted me via text with my amount due on Wednesday July 18, 2023 @ 2 26pm. The adjusted amount due was $ 832.32. I work approx. 10 to 12 hours during the nightshifts. I try and get rest during the daylight hours. I called my agent on July 19, 2023, just after 3 30pm and paid the amount due that she texted me the day before !!! Now, I find out that ALLSTATE has stripped me of my PAY IN FULL DISCOUNT,,, ( and ) apparently put my policy into CANCELLATION ??? I am extremely dissatified with ALLSTATE INSURANCE and the lack of their customer service within their NON PROFESSIONAL Corporate Offices !!! I totally wish that my agent was affilliated with a much more PROFESSIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY,,, so that I may continue with her incredible services !!! I will be replacing the ALLSTATE CIRCUS INSURANCE COMPANY A S A P!

Emergency needed

Hello! I am currently dealing with your company and it's inability to help me properly. One your drivers crashed into me, leaving my car totaled. I am informed of this right before the July 4th holiday weekend. I then find out I was supposed to return my rental on July 4th. I couldn't even get my car that was wrecked handled because where it was was closed. On top of that I still have not received my money for the car your insured driver wrecked. So, I am no paying for my own rental and am supposed to find a car so I can't do that when I don't even have the money from you to proceed. Not only is this is incredibly disrespectful, but it is incredibly unrealistic. I was told that my claim would be expedited so that I would hopefully receive my money from you. It would be great if you could continue to pay for my rental at least until you have given me the money that is owed to me. As investors you should want this company to do better and provide better services to your drivers victims.

Rental runaround and non reimbursement

I tried for two days to get a claim and only got a reservation number for a rental car which is paid for on my policy and after 14 days finally got a claim number and on day17 they decided the were going to deny the claim and stuck me with almost a $700 bill after They made the rental reservation for me. Ridiculous!!

Rude agent

FindindHave have Allstate for approximately 25 yrs. When I recently bought different car and put it on policy agent changed limits and deductibles. I realized this would make payments more than I could afford. I called but did not get same person. In the end I changed companies. When I called to cancel I did get original agent who was very rude said I should of called him directly and he could of help, accused me of not talking with anyone in the company basically told me I was a liar and stupid then disconnected. All I can remember is his first name is Michael. Definitely makes me tempted to pull my homeowners insurance as well. Never had an experience like this with Allstate! Had only good experiences in the past.

Get in my car Towed

I requested a tow from my truck around 2:00 PM today and I was told that someone would be here between 530 and 6:00 PM now its almost 7:00 PM and Im looking on the tracker it shows me that Im two out of six people I have been waiting since 2 oclock now that its almost 7 oclock for a tow truck this is unbelievable

Resolved: Don't trust being in good hands..They left me at intersection gor over5 hours..never arrived..paying for tow service..it's ridiculous

It took them over a month to reimburse me 100$ n numerous calls to them.. Go elsewhere.. They hang up on you if they don't want to assist you..Never dealt with such a terrible company..I'm looking to change company..Not happy with them..Wouldn't recommend them..Terrible customer service..Every employee tells you something different..not trained with correct Info.They didn't give me a claim # ..they forgot..no return calls..A lot of time consumed..your time..not theirs..

I was in middle of fway and40 minutos after the police came to rescue and all star

I called several times no one answer and when they did they hung up!! I have profit !!The Hollywood wood sheriff puch me out of the fwy Because I was in Danger and all cars were going to crash me I was scared for my Life Thank god am alive!! Amen!!

Allstate ruined my life leaving me stranded in minus 29 degree weather.

ALLSTATE REFUSES TO REFUND ME THE $208 BECASUE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS AND DID NOT FILE FOR THE TOW CHARGE UNTIL I WAS RELEASED.

comment to review: Unhappy with service or lack of Allstate May 21, 2023 #234**** Dec 25. Christmas Day I was on my way home and my engine blew. I called Roadside Service and got a foreigner who could not understand most of my English and I don't speak whatever he was speaking. This lasted about 40 minutes. In the meantime I am beginning to freeze because the wind chill here was minus 29 degrees. He kept telling me to download an app he was sending me and send it back. Well at this point my fingers were frozen and I could not type on the phone. I hung up and called PA State Police to come and rescue me. They arrived with 5- 10 minutes. They also had a tow truck there in minutes. I ended up in 3 different hospitals because Allstate kept me on the phone for so long in that weather. I had severe hypothermia. I spent almost 3 months in the hospitals. I have no memory of the first 5 weeks. All because of Allstate. The hypothermia killed my kidneys, froze my leg muscles, making my legs useless without acute therapy to be able to walk but not normally as I had and caused damage to my liver. I have to use a walker now because my leg muscles have not gotten strong enough to walk as I once did before this issue with Allstate. I was put on dialysis for almost 3 months by sying to make my kidneys respond and come back. I am now seeing a Renal Dr. on a regular basis. AND ALLSTATE REFUSES TO RE-IMBURSE ME FOR THE TOW CHARGE BECAUSE IT WAS BEYOND THEIR 90 DAYS. MY LIFE HAS CHANGED DRAMATICALLY AND MY FUTURE IS NOW BLEAK. ALLSTATE DID THIS TO ME. When I got out of the hospital, I sent the tow bill to Allstate. They REFUSED TO PAY IT BECAUSE IT WAS BEYOND 90 DAYS. Well considering I was hospitalized and didn't comprehend most of the things how was I supposed to get out to send a tow bill. I turned my info to my former Allstate agent to assist me in getting back over $200 for the tow. So far nothing. Stay AS FAR AWAY FROM ALLSTATE AS YOU CAN. YOUR LIFE WILL DEPEND ON IT. MY LIFE IS NEVER GOING TO BE THE SAME, THANKS TO ALLSTATE. THEN THEY DENY THE TOW CHARGE ADDING INSULT TO INJURIES.

Have road service n was stranded for over 5 hours n pouring rain...Tow service never arrived..Every excuse as to why they never arrived...I paid 100$ for Gwinnett cops to get tow truck to tow me off of dangerous intersection without lights..No regard.. Not n good hands with All-State..

No where in the policy language provided does it state what was told to me about quotes. Again allstate is not following basic insurance principles or there word on what was originally told to me about getting 3 quotes. I will not be using the contractor that allstate is attempting to force me to choose. I will have to save to have a reputable contractor install my siding on my own dime as allstate only provides half of whats required of work they approved, not to mention items completely ignored. It sounds like allstate is also attempting to get out of paying for depreciation as they know it will take me longer to save the extra expense not provided to choose my own contractor that the timeframe provided. I have submitted a complaint with the ohio insurance commission. I will also be submitting complaints on any board I can find. If allstate does not make this right I will also not be renewing my policy at the time of renewal as well as be forced to seek counsel and ask for attorney fees and court costs. Allstate is a scam company.

Allstate adjusters lied about the damages to my metal roof. I'm disabled and couldn't assess the damages myself. As a result of their lies I have further damages to my property.

Allstate adjusters deliberately, deceive me in their findings from two different claims of wind damage from two severe storms that hit this area in order to minimize this damage, or deemed the damages unrelated to the claims I filed. I have a metal roof with approximately 10 to 20 Dents all over the roof 50 to 60% are punctured all from falling debris, ranging from falling limbs from 60 feet Pine trees to the (extremely hard pine cones with sharp points as well as a hard jagged body.

Haing a bad experience with Allstate Customer Service due to an Agent screw up and the Agent error Department doesnt care. to fix it they just want to do a refund.

Well I had Allstate for a few years, then switched to progressive. Progressive was getting a bit exppensive so i searched on line for a better deal. Used an online Agent from Richmond Virgina, named Lindsay Hamm, so I was told. the young lady a dealt with was very nice got me a fairly good rate and switched me from progressive back to Allstate. Before switching I had just bought a new vehicle , july 22 2022, a 2018 Chevy Equinox. I had traded in a 2014 GMC Terrain, which had been on my progressive policy until I traded, along with a 2008 Chevy Pickup and a 2005 Honda Accord. SoI buy the new Equinox and trade the GMC, the new vehicle is on my Progressive policy. I now change Insurance companies and come back to Allstate through the Lindsay Hamm office in Richmond Va.. Now the rates were going up because I have an 19 year old son who with friend s got a DUI. Big Mistake but it happened. We dealt with that and all that comes ith it, including the increase in insurance. Now I start looking for a less expensive insurance comapny, because I tried reducing everything and even taking my son off the policy but Allstate was just way to much now. Agai I search on line and I get connected with an agency named Parachute who brought me back to Progressive Insurance, with a whole lot better deal and so my son could be on the policy as well. Its December 24 2022 and Im searching and change insurance companies. Jasmine, the lady from Parachute who is signing me back up with progressive, says my new policy will start at Midnight December 31 2022/ Jan 1 2023 and they will contact Allstate to notify the change. Well I do my follow up and atempt to call my Allstate agent, whose name I vant remeber but it was another lady. I finally get a call back on December 28 from her. Iexplain that because of the high rates I have to switch, especially if i can still have myson on the ;oicy for less than half of what Allstate was charging. The Agent said no problem I gave her the start date and she promised she would have my policy canceled same dat, plus it would expire then also. Now everything seemed fine, new insurance with my son on the policy, new vehicle covered, all good right? no!! Jumbe to February 3 , I think, My car loan comapny contacts me and says hey Mr Brazil we see you switched insurance and need to verify that our company is listed as the lean holder. No problem. Wait it gets worse. So I tell the loan comapny I habeprogressive, they have a staright line to progressive, they see all is good but wait... The loan comapny asked who did I have before progressive ? I said Allstat, i pull out my phone give them the policy number. The loan company doesa 3 way call with Allstat. The customer service representative was very nice, she told the loan company yes I did have insurnace, wll there you go. WAIT!! here it comes. The CSR says Allstate covered my vehicles, a chevy 2008 pickup and a GMC 2014 Terrain. Wait, I told thats not right and explained what i had that was to be on the policy. The CSR asked for proof, so I run to my car get my sales contract and give her the date of the purchase of the Chevy Equinox. She then informs me that its agent error and would be directed to the Agent Error Dept. ( they have a whole epartment for agent errors, whats that tell you?) Now so you know the reason the loan comapny wanted to know this information was because they were charging me an extra $9k for insurace but with this Agent Erroe mix up they reduced it to $900 but that would be reduced if Allstate proved it was agent error and the wrong vehicle got put on my insurance. Now here comesthe juice stuff. A week later I finally get a call that i could take from another Allstate Customer service agent, she was from the Agent error Department. I explained eveything and she was nice at first. She tells me well Mr brazil we will take the GMC off your policy and refund the money back to you. I'm like, ok thats nice but im' not asking for that. What I want is for you to let my loan company know yes its agent error and that the wroing vehcile was insured but I did have insurnace so they will drop the extra $900 off of me, thats all i need. The CSR, now gets to a bit aggressive, sir thats not going to happen. What will happen is we will give you a refund and subtract the GMC off yoour policy. this goes back and fourth with me repeating myself and her getting mad. She tells me I dont understand and I just keep saying the same thing. Im like , yes i am saying the same thing becaus eiether you dont understnad or im not getting through to you. I dont want a refund, policy is canceled so why take the GMC off a canceled policy I just want a statement from Allstate that says due to agent error the wrong vehicle was listed and that I , Mr Brazil di have insurance that shoould have covered my Chevy Equinox. The CSR again says not happening , we are under regulations that doesnt allow to add vechjiles to a past policy but we will subtract the vechile off your canceled policy due to agent eror and give you a refund, IF YOU SHOW PROOF that yoou didnt own this vehcile at that time. WHAT??!! You are under regulations that wont allow you to add but allows you to subtract and now after i gave you the trade in information you want proof. I asked the CSR, Who the *** do you think insures a vehicle that tha dont own, that they traded in for a newere vehicle? She says this is how it will be and nothing else. This is th poorest cusomer service I have ever seen from Allstate and she got down right rude, i will aadmit I got angry and was trying not to loose my cool but some thiings did slip out. I dont care about a damn reund, i didnt make the mistake!!! You agent or agent that represented Allstate when she signed me up put the wrong vehcle on the [policy, she never emailed me the policy or cards. The CSR says thats not thier responsiablity once its emailed and her system said it was sent, it falls on my to recieve the eamil. *** Im the damn customer/ client, your representative made the damn mistake and I expect it to getfixed. iwill get you your damn proof that I DID NOT HAVE THE VEHICLE at that time I had the Chevy Equinox!!! I want you to admit, it was the Agents mistake and that you as a so well known company can be professional enough to admit to it and give me a written statement for my loan company, Langley Federal Credit Union, that I actually did have insurance but the mistake was that the agent listed the wrong vehicle but I was covered. Make this right!!! Customer Service I have been in most of my life along with sales and what Im asking for is not extreme, it pretty simple to do. You save money and don't loose face. But if I dont get some help I will report this to the state insurance bureau and let people know of the poor service you give all because you dont want to accept that an agent from an outside company screwed something up under your brand. I dont want to speak to the last CSR from the Agent Error Department, she needs retraining, I want to speak to someone above and I mean above the CSR position. I'll be nice and give you 48 hours to contact me. you have my phone number, Im sure this case ha been batted around at your office from that CSR girl.
