Scam artists

They subcontract to financial institutions to review loan accounts and charge the ones without insurance. They are completely inflexible and try everything they can to keep your money even when you show proof of insurance. Avoid at all costs and do not trust your loan provider not to enable them.

So many calls

I looked into a renters' insurance policy through allied and got an online quote however I went with another company because they have me better coverage at a lower price. I received 4 calls from an agent today trying to sell me homeowners insurance and when I apologized and let them know if already selected a different policy she just hung up. If tell you her name, but she didn't tell me. It was extremely rude and I'm very glad I didn't file with you all if that's how you do business.

Scam Insurance

Never use this company. They’re under investigation in South Carolina right now. While insured under Allied, we ended up paying 30K in medical bills, plus our monthly premium. They catalog everything under pre-existing condition, and then wait for you to tire of fighting them. What’s worse than Allied, is the government not shutting down this company.

Liars

Dont waste your time. They wont cover anything and will blatantly lie to you. This company is full of crooks. We have replaced a lot of systems in our new home under their "warranty". They have not covered a penny and after arguing with them on the phone they still will not. Skeevy crooks please do not go this route.

Horrible! Run as fast as you can.

I filled out a form for a quote and I was immediately bombarded by phone calls. Endless calls from various numbers. I got 25 calls in one evening. Boiler room noises in the background. When I spoke to them, they would not take "No" for an answer. Called me fifteen times the next day. Who would do business with someone so aggressive? One man said they didn't have to stop calling me since I had willingly given them my phone number. Run as fast as you can. Do not do business with these people. Ring, ring, ring, Hang up. Ring, ring, ring, hang up. I'm trying to get to 100 words so this review can go up.

Beyond a nightmare

I have got over $250,000 in medical claims that have gone unpaid For over a year. I’ve never been able to get a straight answer out of anyone who works for allied insurance company who works in customer service Now I’m being sued. I’m currently preparing to sue this company individually. However, I suggest that everyone in my situation or worse should consider joining together in a class action law suite against Allied. Based on the reviews I’ve read, this company refuses to pay any claims. A class action law suite that can result in punitive damages (Punishment against allied) In an amount equal to millions of dollars..one hundred million or more. Kind of like “big tabacco” or BP (ie..oil sills in the Gulf of Mexico). We only need three people!!

Allied customer service sucks

Got off the phone with Robert.... Allied (Nationwide) customer service sucks. I have 3 cars, 3 homes, and an umbrella policy with them. My credit card was re-issued with new numbers in February. I have updated all automatic payments (you have to go in and update each policy) since then, yet Allied keeps sending me cancelation notices by snail mail. Interesting that the last two payments were charged to the new card, but somehow this one is not. What happened to common courtesy to send an email that your card has been declined? $30 fee for credit card processing wow! I will find another insurance company that can handle automatic payments correctly and doesn't treat their customer poorly.

Allied/ Nationwide is Not on Your Side

I signed up with Allied through Affiliated insurance Company corp. I told the agent that me and my husband are separated so I did't want him on my policy. He said no problem since he is not living in the home. I paid my money. I told him sure you can borrow the car. Unfortunately, he was on an accident was on November 6, the police were called. Called the day of the accident to report it. They stalled for almost 30 days. The adjuster went to the lot and seen the damage to the car. Then his manager had to come out to my house to interview me too! I also gave a copy of the police report on November 18. I had to pay out of pocket for a rental even though I pay for a rental which is in my policy. My car is on a tow lot charging me $45 a day. They said I was committing fraud because he was in a accident. My husband has advertising on the car and they said it was considered a business car. In my policy states that any person or organization who drives my car will be insured. Not true. Nobody asked for the registration until the the day before my next premium, they rescinded my policy and gave me my money back. I am furious!! I Still Have Not Talked To Anyone From ALLIED! Only Nationwide claims and adjusters!

Allied took money from my paid off motorhome policy and applied it to mu cancelled truck policy

I had my motorhome and pickups insured by Allied. in March i cancelled my truck insurance by calling my agency, someone there for got to cancel it!!!!! therefore Allied took it upon themselves to take 4 premium payments out of my motorhome policy, which i had paid in full in march. Then on Aug. 8, 2016 i received a check, your vehicle policy had been cancelled..this check is to refund you what we owe......"WHAT", the check was for the amt. that had been taken out of my motorhome policy..then i received a bill for $269.56 that i owe on my motorhome policy because they illegally took money out of it. These were 2 totally separate policies.

1000 STARS!

Ok, so get this: I crash a car and I don't take advantage of the insurance because I was told not to. I didn't compensate the other guy involved in the accident either. I didn't even pay the hospital. Well I go on my life totally ignoring the legal people trying to get at me, and then... THOSE *** TAKE ME TO COURT! Oh no, I really don't want to go to court, so I call up those Allied insurance people and they take care of it all. Court date was set and everything they take care of it ALL. Like HOLY *** dude, saved my ***. So moral of the story, Nationwide is on your side. Well probably not I was probably given preferential treatment. So *** all y'all haters Insurance +++++1
