My claim not answered yet. What happened?

They folded my mattress and put a permanent crease in it. It was new, now its not the same comfort for sleep or when you sit on it. I filed a claim but no response.

Why do your drivers in Indianapolis (Brooks St, zip 46234) block entire driveways with trucks when the driver has an open path to move up a several feet with no restrictions on either side of the road. Are they that lazy? Then why would they move a truck out of the way only to move it back a few minutes later and block my driveway again? Are they just trying to make people angry? It worked. It is a very bad look.

Severe Negligence and Damages Resulting from Recent Move and then pitiful and insulting settlement offer

To all concerned, I am writing to share a nightmarish tale that my 67-year-old mother and my 90-year-old grandmother endured during their recent move with All My Sons Moving & Storage / Business Development, LLC. Prepare yourselves, for this is a story of unfathomable incompetence, deceit, and utter disrespect towards my vulnerable family members. On July 5 (moving day), my mother, a dedicated registered nurse, and my grandmother placed their trust in the company's full-service package, believing it would provide them with the professional packing they needed for a stress-free relocation. The movers appeared competent initially, as they packed one box with care while my mother and grandmother watched in relief, thinking their cherished belongings were in capable hands. But that trust was shattered as soon as my mother and grandmother left the movers to handle the rest. Unbeknownst to them, the movers saw an opportunity to take advantage of two women who were dealing with immense stress and vulnerability. What followed was a horrifying act of recklessness and carelessness that defies comprehension. The movers threw everything into boxes with reckless abandon, showing no regard for the fragility or value of the items. Glassware was piled on top of glassware, precious Waterford Crystal treated with the same indifference as ordinary kitchenware. Delicate and sentimental oil paintings were carelessly thrown in with no protective styrofoam, paper, or bubble wrap to shield them from harm. Imagine the devastation my mother and grandmother felt when they finally unpacked at their new home, only to find a heart-wrenching scene of shattered glass, broken heirlooms, and damaged artwork and furniture. Their cherished possessions, with decades of sentimental significance, lay in ruins, forever lost to their family's history. To make matters even worse, the movers exhibited a complete disregard for the promised professional setup in the new apartment. Items were dumped haphazardly, creating chaos and adding insult to injury. This was not the seamless and stress-free relocation my mother had paid for; it was a nightmare beyond imagination. Throughout this ordeal, my grandmother, already grappling with health issues and mourning the loss of her husband of 65 years, endured further anguish. The movers' exploitation of their vulnerability compounded her emotional and physical struggles, leaving her feeling betrayed and utterly devastated. How do you put monetary value on the damage to an original oil painting of my recently deceased grandfather, which held significant sentimental value as it had hung in his law firm for over 50 years, or my grandmother's own original oil paintings, a testament to her artistic talent and exhibited in various art shows in Pittsburgh throughout the years, that was severely damaged with the oil chipped off. What about furniture which held immense sentimental value; an antique desk, which had been my grandfather's law desk for over 50 years, was irreparably damaged during the move. The emotional toll of losing these cherished possessions is immeasurable. As if the damage inflicted on their possessions wasn't enough, the company's response has been nothing short of callous. Their settlement offer, an insultingly low amount based on weight alone, is a cruel reminder of their complete lack of empathy and accountability. Despite my mother's diligent correspondence with the company's representatives, Eric Longhofer, Geoff Brugess, and Leona Maroney, via email, and providing extensive photographic evidence of the devastation, there has been a disturbing lack of urgency and response from their customer care department. All of this has left my mother navigating this distressing situation alone, enduring significant financial setbacks, emotional turmoil, and undue stress. Now, after all the pain and suffering they have caused, their settlement offer is nothing short of insulting. To reduce the worth of our cherished possessions to mere weight and offer a paltry sum in compensation is a gross understatement of the damages incurred. The settlement offer, which was received yesterday Geoff Burgess, from All My Sons Business Development, LLC, in response to the severe damages and losses my mother, Michaele Martino, and my grandmother experienced during their recent move, is not only insulting but deeply disappointing, considering the extent of negligence displayed by the company. Their settlement offer, provided via DocuSign, claims to have significantly increased the offer from their legal liability limits of just $0.60 per pound per item. According to their calculation based on this guideline from the Department of Transportation, they have arrived at a paltry sum of $186. Let me emphasize that this is an appalling and unacceptable amount, given the scale of the damages and losses they incurred. They stated that they increased the amount to $708 in light of the concerns we expressed. However, this revised offer still falls woefully short of addressing the true value of the irreparably damaged and missing items, not to mention the emotional distress caused by their incompetence and negligence. To evaluate our losses based solely on weight is an insult to our intelligence and a dismissive approach to our legitimate grievances. How can they put a value on sentimental family heirlooms, antiques, collector's items, and original artwork by my mother? To reduce these items to mere weight is a gross oversimplification of their worth and significance to our family. Furthermore, the offer doesnt even address the amount my mom spent on the move itself which was $2776. We want to make it crystal clear that their settlement offer is entirely unacceptable. We have already invested considerable time, effort, and resources in documenting the damages and engaging in discussions with their representatives. To be presented with such an insulting offer demonstrates a complete lack of accountability and concern for the distress caused to our family. We refuse to be silenced in the face of such a heartless act. We will not rest until justice is served, and my mother and grandmother are rightfully compensated for the unspeakable horrors they endured at the hands of All My Sons Moving & Storage / Business Development, LLC. To all who may consider this company for your moving needs, I implore you to think twice and consider the devastating consequences that my family experienced. We will not stop until we see accountability, and we will not be silenced until our voices are heard. Sincerely, Alexis Ottier

Overcharged, Horrible Management

Updated by user Jun 01, 2023
I have contacted All My Sons Corporate and no management has helped me or called me back, they just route me to the local office. Local Office says if you have an issue contact Corporate ....... and around and around we go.

I am an 18 year active duty Marine and former military dependent, having moved every 3 years since I was born, so you can say I am familiar with moving. We moved off a military base in preparation of my retirement. We hired All My Sons Moving and Storage based on reviews and quote from the National Corporate office/schedulers. Everything from the National Corporate office/schedulers were ignored by the local/district management. Our quote from the National Corporate Office: 1) Supplies $122 ... what we were charged $248 + additional supply charges. 2) Labor starts when we arrive at the house ... what we were charged when the movers showed up to the front gate (not to mention the driver got lost because his GPS messed up). 2 additional hours of labor for them sitting at the gate and getting lost. 3) Labor for lunch ...yep, we were charged for them taking an 1hr lunch break. 4) Fuel Surcharge is 18% of labor cost ... the labor cost was already messed up so now fuel surcharge is messed up. 5) Driver forgot his tools at the point of origin ... I had to drive back 45 mins so the driver could get his tools. I have tried to reason and discuss with the local manger ... NOTHING. I have tried to reach out to the National Corporate office ... NOTHING! I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contesting the charges with my Credit Card Company. We received a quote ... the company should honor that quote. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!

Unreliable, unprofessional and thieves!

I recently booked with all my son's to move us. We paid 100 dollars to secure our spot on Wednesday the 1st of March. I called them that morning and Casey told me he didn't think he would be able to get me in that day. He would call me back in 15 mins. I never heard back from him. So around 1 I moved my own belongings. Around 4pm a truck shows up to move all of my things. Totally unacceptable. Who starts their move at 4pm? I have kids and that is not ok. No call from Casey or nothing. Inwas already moved. Yet they kept the money even though they f Dropped the ball. Criminal. 100 bucks lost because of incompetency on behalf of the company. Thanks. This was the 3rd time using them. Never again.

Over charging and broken equipment

They promised me 3 people they only sent 2 The truck was broken. It had no working Ramp. Sales manager call the police on me because he build me 500 extra dollars and I refuse to pay so he threatened to hold my stuff unless I paid him. Apparently you would have to go to court in order to get your stuff back. Absolutely the worst moving company ever.

Damage to flooring

In November of 2021 I hired this company to move my furniture. When they were moving furniture in my new house they dropped a heavy filing cabinet on my floor and made a large hole on my floor. I contacted the company and they were telling me that their movers didn't cause the damage to my floor. I kept contacting them and contacting them and finally they offered me under $200.00 dollars for the damage to my floor. I told them that I wanted them to repair it but they refused to do so. They also told me that if there was damage caused to my house by them , that it wouldn't be covered , that only if my furniture was damaged.

Destroyed my belongings

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I recently used All My Sons in Raleigh, NC for a move. I warn anyone considering using them to be extremely careful and to reconsider. They destroyed my 75 inch 4k tv, ripped the top off of my wooden desk and broke the leg on my front load washing machine. I filed a claim with them for the destroyed/damaged items, valued at over $4000 to replace, and they offered me a paltry $460 with the comment that they are offering me $250 more than they are legally required to. I can not replace even one of the three items for that amount. In addition, everything that was not boxed was wrapped in a ridiculous amount of plastic wrap, even plastic storage bins were wrapped in more plastic??? I find it quite ironic that my items which required protection were handled poorly and any items that didn't were wrapped in an excessive amount of wrap. The move took way longer than it should have. I hired three guys and one of the three spent almost the entire time in the back of the truck just wrapping things in plastic. I highly encourage you to use a different moving company if you can. DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING AND STORAGE if you do not have to!!!

They did my dad so dirty.

They moved my dad in the second week of June 2022. His wife just passed of cancer so he wanted to move back home to Michigan to be with his family. It is now August 1st. He still has not heard anything on how much it will cost to get his stuff back. They already over charged him. Owners lisa and I thing Roy or Robert in or near Warsaw Indiana. Thye better do right give him is stuff for a low price since they suck at customer service and a good place of business. I have 19 aunts and uncles in over 6 states and they will make sure to share this experience with everyone.

Deceptive pricing - a scam company people should be made aware

Final price was ~300 increase from initial quote. CC surcharge not disclosed and charged for a packing material never used, as well as my dryer being broken. Spoke with company rep Pamela Mcg**** for company to charge my CC before workers would unload truck with my belongings, she practically sneered at my concerns and accused me of wasting time and making my total cost go up. Fast talking con-artist. Wished I had taken time to read the huge amount of negative reviews of company. Will be filing complains with nc utilities commission and FMCSA

Horrible Service

Arrived late moving me in and out, unprofessional movers and the people who work in the office. The office did not go by the hours they had listed on their website and basically told me to *** about all my concerns. Cracked my $800 tv and my dresser, my coffee table and picture frames, and more and offered me $300 for my claim after I paid them $3K to move a couch and a couple boxes into a 1 bedroom. Definitely a scam, I wish I had a time machine. Fortunately I come from a family of lawyers and have been told Im well in my right to sue for a full refund plus for the frustration of turning what should have been an exciting day into a frustrating mess.

I tried and tried and tried and........

I booked a moving date without a problem but on the day of the move I was contacted by a gentleman who told me I was on their schedule for that day as was promised in writing. After that I never saw a soul! Multiple and I mean multiple attempts to try and contact anyone for the next 24 hrs was incredibly frustrating. I eventually cancelled the service now hoping to receive my $100 refund. The last person I spoke to was a young man working from home who promised me he would get the refund process done. I'm not holding my breath!!!

Money STOLEN...

A bit after our moving crew left I went into my purse and found that $300 cash was taken... We've been calling since moving day, we've left messages with the company, no call backs, no response, even reached out on facebook messenger, nothing. What should've been one of the Best days ever was quickly turned into one of the absolute worst. Also we were charged hundreds of dollars more than what was quoted to us. Please save yourself the trouble, the hassle, the headache.. Do Not Use this company.
