Josh J and Josh Trahan worked hard to get me the vehicle I wanted

Josh J and Josh Trahan searched and showed me many vehicles when I was searching for my Airstream. Although I ended up finding one from a private Seller they still kept me in mind when one became available yesterday.

Horrible customer service

Nor a word from Albany RV. Proving they dont care about their customers!

Original review Jun 23, 2022
Purchased a mini-trailer. Paid for an awning to be installed prior to pick up. Called and was told awning was installed. Get there to pick up. You guessed it no awning. Drove back 3 weeks later for installation, 6 hour drive. They ordered the wrong item, no one bothered checking order before I got there. Ending up paying $900 for awning installation. Note, they only installed brackets, husband and I put the canvas up ourselves. Fast forward 1 year, after first winter storage. The awning fell off when we tried to put it up before first trip of the year. It was only glued to the roof with one inch screws. Contacted service several times, still no call back. Blatantly lied to us about several things. Sales people will tell you anything to make the sale. Service is half-fast. Customer service is non-existent. Find another dealer to buy from. Will never give them another dollar.

Won't return deposit.

Gave the dealership a deposit to hold a RV. Did not buy the unit. Was told it would be refunded wihtin 30 days. That has not happened. It is now over 30 days and have not received the funds. This is a common occurrence in many consumer reviews.

Horrible experience

Horrible management to do business with. I negotiated a net purchase price for a new RV in June with a deposit and a formal purchase order signed by myself and the sales manager. When it finally arrived in October they had me sit down to make the final arrangements and they presented me with a new purchase order with a substantial extra fee added. These fees were talked about and were negotiated out in the first purchase agreement. They would not honor the first purchase agreement and demanded extra money to go forward with the purchase. On top of that there was some damage to the RV and they would not even order the parts or begin the process to fix it until I paid for the RV in full. I tried to contact their service department to get an idea if the parts were available and to see how much time would be required to fix it. The sales manager would not answer those questions. I could only leave messages to the service department and they would not return my calls. I finally had to contact the customer service department of the manufacturer to get some answers and only then heard back from the sales manager after the manufacturer pressured him. It was estimated over a month at best to get it fixed. After experiencing such poor service from Albany RV One when I didn't even purchase this RV yet, I decided cancel the order. I knew that this was only the start of problems with them so I requested them to return my refundable deposit. It took over 2 weeks to get the deposit back and only after I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Although my sales person was nice, the management of Albany RV One leaves much to be desired. Stay away.

Fraud loan

Original review Jun 29, 2021
This company initiated a $244,000 loan before the coach even left Florida for Albany. We never knew it. They told us they are only checking your credit and when you visually see the coach. Then you can decide to accept or reject. Instead, they put the loan through on April 26. They said we need these papers signed in order to bring the coach up from Florida. Unethical practice. Do not buy from this Dealer.

Brand new camper water leak attempted to fix 3x's worst customer service ever

Bought a brand new aug 2019 Jayco took it out once water leaking out the bottom. (we were suppose to get a camper that was new and not the floor model. we did not we got the one on the lot and they said they had no others.) We work so we told service dept we could not get there until after 5 we live in VT. Well when we got there this obnoxious receptionist tells us we can not leave it we are late. So after 30 minutes of her calling the person we spoke with we left with the camper there and she informed us it would not be covered under their insurance so we had to sign a waiver. Next day they call me and tell me they will charge us because there is no leak. Well after me begging them to wait they call back and inform me it is leaking and it is fixed it is some rings around the shower and toilet. Next time out 48 hours in it is leaking again running out the bottom. Again we have to argue with the service dept because we can not get there to drop the camper off until after 5. We left work early this time to avoid an argument, again they claim they fixed it we take it out leaking again. Again leaking we drive back down to the service dept they claim they fixed it well back down an hour away again they say we found it is the holding tank and it is cracked we ordered one. We only got to use our brand new 2019 camper 3x's last year. I asked them to anti freeze it while they had it and they did, cost 150 dollars wow. Even after 3 trips for a brand new camper they charged us. We had lost time from work trying to get to Albany rv to fix a brand new camper. So we just took it out first time this year and it is leaking worse than ever. Albany Rv had advertised they were closed for good. I was thrilled I did not have to deal with them, bad news is Buffalo is 6 hours away to have it fixed. Do not buy from Albany Rv I hear they are open again. this is not our first camper and never have I had such horrible customer service. so to the receptionist that yelled it is just a water leak, one you can not fix. so now we are stuck with a 2019 camper that leaks and Albany can not fix 3x's. Not sure what we are doing they have you sign an agreement not to sue to have a mediator well that should be your first sign. Do not buy from them. Jayco agreed to make the warrantee good but we need to find a service dept that can fix a "simple water leak" this camper is only 21' how many lines can there be. So Albany Rv touting the 2 year warrantee good luck getting them to make it good.

Do NOT purchase anything from this dealer. The sales staff can not help you not answer any questions when it comes to service.

Purchased a new 29rks travel trailer last year ( 2018 ). First trip out refrigerator didnt work. Had to take it back to get fixed a week later. Since then, thermostat didnt work properly, hot water heater didnt work, ( had to order parts and make repairs myself ). The plastic strip in the smoke detector was still in place, good thing there were no fires or carbon monoxide released in the camper. The best is yet to come, read on. My LED lights went dim one night then never came on again. I live in NY but spend my winters in VA. Called service, Harry Fredenburgh, left numerous messages starting in August, sent him the information he requested ( including pictures ). Well here it is December, still no lights, guess what, Harry sends me a list of Jayco dealers in southeast VA. Too lazy to do his job. Called the service manager, Nick, left a voicemail 3 weeks ago, still no reply from him. The sales pitch about a walk through, forget it they're to busy to do a proper job. Once the unit is sold and out of their yard, you're history, while they smooth talk the next victim.

Worse service ever

I should have learned my lesson with my last trailer. But no I’m so stupid. Never again. 2020 trailer with problems that I can’t even get anyone to get back to me three weeks and counting. Had the trailer for 3 weeks and 3 days. Unreal. Called Jayco and they are useless as well. Warrantee bull. Does exits. Don’t ever pay for extended warranty. They can’t handle a new trailer

The ABSOLUTE WORST!!

Took three IM's and 2 phone calls to even get their company name from the sales person. WOULD NOT give us an address to come look at any of their available units until we first told them what stock #'s we wanted to look at. Hey, we want to buy a Class A motor home, ($75K+) but if we can't even get a name or location -- FINE! Certainly can take our business somewhere else.

Trying t purchase an RV, no one calls me back, they have my deposit

We put a deposit on the RV and then they said my credit wasn't as good as they hoped, it is 758 and they wanted more money down and I said I wasn't doing that because I have great credit. Now no one will call be back, won't answer any of my messages. The finance manager is very short and kind of rude. I will be going elsewhere to purchase my class C . Barbara Pataki

Great salesperson, excellent warranty repairs

Conner Gifford is the salesperson you want for any level Rv purchase at Albany Rv. We tried to work with many at other dealerships, but Conner made it easy and followed thru when we needed some warranty repairs in a hurry. The service department got us right in and got us ready for our family vacation. Ignore the reports of poor service, work with them on a reasonable manner, And you will be happy. Use Conner and you will have a great experience.

Stay away.

Worst ever.dealership. Bought our new class C home from RV1 had a host of problems from a leaking roof to missing parts. It got even worse when both our coach batteries died within a month and the engine battery died on our first trip leaving us stranded. We found out later that the original factory coach batteries and engine battery had been cannibilized and replaced with cheap used batteries. We have driven this RV less then 400 miles.

Worst customer service

We purchased the extended service package on a RV we bought from Albany RV and were told that it covered everything. We have been trying to get our awning fixed for 2 years now and have gotten the run around from them since the beginning. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I would never recommend Albany RV to anyone. We’re now being told that the service agreement we bought is no longer valid. Unbelievable, not a way to run a business

3/5

Albany RV Terrible Customer Service

I had absolutely no problems buying a camper and everyone was so accommodating buying the camper. Once the papers are signed, forget it. Trying to talk to anyone at the company for any kind of issue is nothing but a run around. The turn-over rate of workers is a major problem. Every time I call for something, the person I last dealt with is no longer working there. I have learned my lesson the hard way and will NEVER buy from them again.
