Need some guidance

Dear sir / mam. Hope you are doing well. I just need some assistance, i booked a ticket with air canada from Dubai to Calgary 20 September but i couldn't add there my passport details. There is no option. Can you please guide me about it.

Pissed off

There is NO customer service. You cant speak to anyone with any concerns you have. You cant speak to anyone who can give a customer help. I have new extremely disappointed with the lack of service. My audition has not been resolved. Nobody has addressed my concerns at all. When I have been told I will be contacted by Air Canada.nothing has happened. No one has reached out to me at all. Very disappointing.

We had a horrible experience with Air Canada

We booked our flight with a 5 hour layover. You would think that is plenty of time. The continuous delays made us miss our connecting flight. That is when the disaster started for us. We were directed to wait in a specific line. When we got close to the front they closed the line down. We were told that we should try to secure our luggage. Not possible, they told us it was locked up in a room. Then we had to wait in a huge line with only 3 agents helping. Each person they helped took at least 15 minutes. Hours in line people were screaming. I finally got a hold of a customer service rep on the phone who was excellent. He arranged our flight back home and told me to keep my receipts for dinner and my overnight stay. He gave me the parameters of what would be covered. Our baggage finally arrived two weeks later. When I put in the claim nothing was paid. I was so disgusted with the situation I dont think I can ever fly Air Canada again.

No voucher after one year wait

Booked a flight in 2020 but was not able to go due to goverment and work travel restrictions. I recieved an email that says i will be recieving an electronic voucher after 10 weeks, one year later still none. No customer relations number to call and many online chats later still nothing. Not impressed with AC at all.

Over booked send to another airline plus had to pay extra for luggage

We arrive at LGA airport 2.5hrs before the flight and we where told they are over booked will we be willing to go to JFK to fly with air Italia they will have 2 us ITA told us they where over booked and we were put on standby We are seniors and they felt sorry for us 20 mn before the flight they found 2 seats for us we had to pay $120 for the luggage I think a refund would be nice

Refund and compensation

I am writing to bring to your notice about the the type of stressful situations I am passing through with Air Canada. I boarded flight from London United kingdom on the 3rd of March 2023 going to Ottawa Canada. And I was meant to connect flight which was supposed to be Air Canada from Toronto Pearson airport but Air Canada that was supposed to take me from Toronto was delayed for 25 minutes and after that they said that it has been cancelled. And this situations left me stranded at the airport, Air Canada didn't provide me with an accommodation nor offered me refreshments of any sort like drinks or food. I was left stranded at the airport all through the night of 3rd March. And they said that the next flight will be the next morning @***.10 am. And when the time came for boarding that too was also cancelled without them providing the time for the next flight and the information board was blan. I had sore toes and tensed necks. And because of the uncertainties of the timming I had to looked for alternative means for my onward travelling. And I immediately contacted both the air Canada and my travelling agent concerning this. Air Canada sent me emails telling me about a travelling voucher which is only eligible for travelling to Mexico and Caribbean. I replied to them that at the moment I don't want to travel and that I needed cash to offset my travelling expenses and bills but up till now they never responded. I have tried calling them but nobody was picking my calls. Some times I will be on waiting for more than 2 hours. Hence this my complaint I am having emotional breakdown because if this because I feel I am not being heard. Thanks Annie

Horrible company

Air Canada Seattle to Comox was the worst flight of my life. In a short flight from Seattle to Comox with a connector in Vancouver. The connector is a 20 minute flight from Vancouver to Comox. I experienced 11, yes 11 delays and gate changes. A screen shot cannot show the frustration or physical pain caused by Air Canada's lacking. Running through large busy airports. Gate changes that required taking the tram in Seattle to different gates. Standing in lines of enraged customers to Information desks. All of us just trying to get to our destinations. It looked like a riot may ensue at the Vancouver airport in the Air Canada section. Employees that were trying hard, but also up against a behemoth company that seemed to care as little for them as they do for their customers. I kept apologizing to employees for expressing my frustration but I was never offered a manager to talk to. I was offered a card with numbers to call. I would not last a day as an employee for this company. I felt so bad for my fellow Canadians that have to work for a company that is so bad that they should not use the word Canada in their name. I could have made this travel by buses and ferry in about 10 hours. My travel by Air Canada with checkpoints and lines Started in Seattle before 11:00 A.M. and ended more than 12 hours later. My 66 year old back, legs and *** still hurt the next day as I write this. Stay Away

The lack of someone who will take ownership of the problem. They acknowledge they owe me $ 1000 but even after two years of hounding them I still have not received the refund.

The have not issued $1000 gift card refund they acknowledge they owe and it has been over two years. I must have made over 25 written and phone call requests and still nothing.

Gift card refund was promised by Air Canada Dec 5 2020. Still have not received

To anyone who cares about helping an Air Canada customer get some resolution once and for all. For the past three years I have attempted, unsuccessfully, to get someone within the Air Canada and or Aeroplan organizations to issue a Credit refund an Aeroplan gift card for $ 1,000 as committed to on December 5th 2020 . ( see final email following.) If you follow the paper trail below you will note that on Saturday December 5, 2020 an acknowledgment via email indicating that an error was made by Air Canada and the refund would be issued .(see the email at the end of the various correspondence below). Apparently this has been lost in the bowels of one of your organizations and I have attempted on at least 25 occasions with anyone and everyone in Air Canada et al, to have this matter resolved. Frustration in the past 3 years has reached a boiling point many times over . Could any one human being that actually cares about customers take it upon themselves to bring this to a final resolution. PLEASE Because of this abominable lack of attention, I have chosen not to fly Air Canada over the past three years out of spite. I am anxious to get back flying and use this refund to book an upcoming flight with Air Canada. Air Canada SUCKS

This is quite possibly the worst airline known to man. I have NEVER had an Air Canada flight that has left on time. There is ALWAYS a delay. Customer service is atrocious and non-existent. Calling them? Impossible. Be prepared to wait for hours. E-mail? Oh, you'll get a generic response from a bot. The FAA should investigate them because it's unheard of to travel to the airport just to reach an actual human being. United Airlines and every other airline in the States needs to find another partner. Air Canada is flat out garbage. I wish I could give them zero stars. Avoid them if possible.

Ticket was cancelled without informing

I had booked ticket from Toronto to London Heathrow one month ago in the same booking I had Edmonton to Toronto ( which I had not travelled ) 7days prior to above trip . when I reached airport on 25th June and try to checkin at the desk , they told me that my ticket is not there and I was shocked and phoned Aircanda from the airport and none of them are helpful and not gave any proper reason and cutting the line it was so stressful. I spoken to 3 agents none of them got an answer why they cancelled my ticket on what basis they done it. after spending 2 hours i made my way back to hotel ( again last minute booking ) I was unhappy what has happen to me with Aircanada and I want them to compensate for my ticket. I had to purchase new ticket to travel back from Canada to London. Being such a multinational company in aviation, and treating customers by cancelling the tickets without informing them is worse and causing distress for no reason.

Travel Voucher Issue

Dear Sir / Madam, Good day to you. I had a very unpleasant experience yesterday on aircanada booking website while I wanted to redeem my travel voucher for my flight from Vancouver to London. I have never used the voucher value and in fact while I was booking, I was told how much is the value to pay the half of the ticket with this voucher. But when I actually wanted to book the fare I got a message on my telephone screen saying that the voucher has been depleted.I need the travel voucher ASAP to be with full amount what was initially there as I havd never used it. And after looking on Internet it seems I'm not the only one Air Canada who this airline has surprised with this unpleasant message. There were thousands more complaints online with many people saying it took Air Canada ages to revalue or refund the travel vouchers and some even said that Air Canada has told them about booking references booked by using their vouchers which in fact they never did or it wasn't them at all who used these vouchers related to that booking references. I tried many time to call the main 180****... It only cost me frustration and time as I never got through. The queue was "exceptionally long". Please help me and I request Air Canada to uplift their standards of customer service. It's terrible

Resolved: I request you to provide me a written proof if my baggage is already forwarded to Qatar Airways. I have already claimed for the luggage and the claim number is KTM 314****

As a frequent flier of AirCanada I am extremely disappointed at my most recent experience with your company On 1st May I left YYZ to BWI by flight no.8682 at 2:15pm after that by using the service of Qatar Airways I flew from IAD to DOH by flight no.708 at 9:00 pm and from DOH to KTM by flight no.644 at 5:30pm on 2nd may When I arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu my luggage ( AC 304275 and AC 304276 ) were missing I am so grateful that I found the luggage AC 304276 but luggage AC 304276 is still missing. When I contact Qatar Airways they say they havent received the luggage and when I call AirCanada they say they already forwarded it to Qatar Airways. Now I dont know what to do. There were very important documents and the things that are very precious to me in the luggage.

Website booking totally incorrect info

I tried to book a return flight from Ottawa to Holguin on Air Canada App. However, I cannot complete when it came to final payment. After a very lengthy online talk to an agent, I was told that the online information is no longer valid as Air Canada has raised the ticket price because more passengers are booking the flight. I find this type of business practice immoral & taking advantage of passenger. Why encourage customers to use the application with totally misinformation? I have photoshopped the booking price info as follow up reference.
