No response on refund of amount except the mail received one month a go

I had booked one room in hotel Sidney Yangon on 01 August 2023 my booking ID is 102114****. I canceled my booking on 01August 2023,cancellation was successful, and I got mail from Agoda for I had made payment by debit card, my debit card number Is 357108****724565. However, yet amount is not credited in my account till now.

My money is taken without reservation

Greetings all, It has been more than 72 hours since my last call with customer service agent from Agoda. Today is the 8th day of this issue and there is no refund in my Alansari app. I am in Georgia now and I have expenses to pay and I am almost out of money. I wrote an email to my bank and waiting for their response as Agoda suggested. Please advise and help if you can. I did not receive my confirmation or refund

I am in financial hardship because of this, I booked a flight to gold coast and return and never received a confirmation email days later even though Id already paid in FULL I desperately need the CONFIRMATION or a full REFUND ASAP!!! Please return my email, call etc ASAP I can NOT afford to lose my MONEY.

My money is taken without reservation!!!

Few hours ago, I made a booking to best western hotel in Batumi, Georgia. I was able to fill out all the payment requirements and other booking information. When I pressed slide to payment the payment was done with no reservation!!! And I received an email saying that an error occurred during payment processing. I contacted the customer service and responded an email from agoda. And still hoping and waiting for the refund so I can plan accordingly for my trip to Georgia. Please make this trip a good one by showing your cooperation. Thank you

To complain my issue is ignored

Problem is not understood or answered properly. They are ridiculing me by sending the same email and blocking me on chat. I sent them 10 emails a day, the same reply came back with different agent name.

Payment confirmation

I have been trying to resolve this issue the very minute it happened. Yesterday I made a booking for a motel using booking.com however while I was making the payment I realized it was the wrong address so I try to abort the payment but it wouldnt let me so I tried Turing my phone off to see if that would interrupt the payment. However all efforts were in vain and I turn my phone on to see that the payment was confirmed. Immediately I tried calling the property and booking.com Ive been back and forth between them for 9 hours!. The last resolution is the third party which is you guys. I understand the no refund policy but I am trying to explain that I try to abort the payment while the payment is trying to process giving I realized the address was completely wrong even in the wrong providence! I am planning a funeral and trying to get my family members closer to me for the burial and I literally paid for a property that Im not even at or even close! I do not mind paying a commission of the payment but please this is a difficult time for me extremely difficult! I would like to know what I can do to get a refund or a partial refund for the one second mistake that I tried to cancel before it was confirmed,please help me. Even if its not refunded I would be ok if its transferred to a closer property that my family can actually use or credits to use in the future. I already have been overwhelmed with financial difficulties I am now facing with the death in my family.

Change of date of birth

Did a mistake in my date of birth when booking my ticket. Im sure Im gonna have an issue with through customs and security. I was double checking everything when I realised the mistake I made there thats why I am kindly inquiring for a assistance in changing the date of birth so I wont have any issues.

Checkin denied

The issue that I have experienced was: I am a long standing customer of Agoda for the past 5 yrs. But I booked a hotel via agoda that was not able to provide accommodation by the property. Then i contacted with Agoda customer service and advised me to book alternative property by myself and educated me to provide invoice after stay they will refund now they are denying . Cheated with me and I requested a refund after sending invoice however your team will not give this to me. I have sent multiple emails and wasted alot of time on the phone but no one will process a refund after commitment i have proof on mails. I am so dissapointed.. your company has let ne doen. A loyal customer of many years. Please help me get my refund so I can book elsewhere as I have a family. Booking ID 99247**** . If I dont get assistance with this refund then be assured that I will never use Agoda again and make sure everyone on social media hears of this disgusting experience I had. Im really dishearten and mentally i spent so much money and now no one is listening. We book a flight ticket with Agoda ( through kayak). Immediately they took the money and send us PNR number. But actual airline ( Etihad) told us Agoda didn't buy tickets from them, and thus it's not confirmed. I think they are holding customers money and waiting for price down (I think so). But in this case price increased the next day after several follow-up calls, after 5 days they cancelled our ticket. We end up buying another ticket with a huge increase. Service from Agoda was very bad. They are cheating customers like me.. they said now after 30 days only, I can get my refund please be careful while dealing with these kinds of people and also platforms like kayak

Bed bugs and dirty rooms

We arrived late at around 11:30 . We called reception midday and notified them by phone that we were coming but late in the evening. We also registered online and paid hotel fees midday . Then we were charged hotel fees again at front desk. We had 4 kids with us. 1st room dirty under mattress. 2nd room had a dead bed bug on top of a queen bed. After trying 2 rooms we decided to leave and with 4 kids we ended up finding another place to stay at 1 a.m. Nobody could help us. There was 1 front desk person on staff and all he said was we could keep trying new rooms.We were not willing to put the 4 kids through this again and had no confidence in the quality and cleanliness of these rooms. Just terrible and disappointing and we cannot get a hold of Agoda to get a refund... We need a refund for this terrible experience.

Never been able to talk to representative. Dragged time with my complaint. Confused and ignorant attitude in dealing with my complaint. I lost money because of Agoda's negligence.

Agoda sent two reservations to the hotel although one of them had been cancelled by me well in advance. Consequently, the hotel charged me one night as cancellation fee for the reservation which I had cancelled in advance. All my appeals to Agoda where handled in a clumsy and negligent manner. I am considering suing Agoda . I wish I could rate the company 0 (zero)

Requesting refund

Ref 34145**** We went on my Birthday to the Hotel I had booked.Although it was the same picture that was advertised on my booking we were directed to another Hotel.The look of it was new to me as the picture that was advertised was the yellow one we first went to that you had advertised. I checked in on 12th May we drove to the room around the back of Hotel, on the way round I saw a black guy pooing on the grass. I saw another peeing in the bushes.We were given our allocated king size room but did not feel safe there. There were 2 guys sitting with a plastic bag drinking cans of beer and taking drugs,there was another guy hanging around, who walked up and down and kept stopping at our room. We did not feel safe, we went back to reception and asked to change room.The guy said he would phone security but actually went round himself to check.There was no security or cameras there. We had to wait ages at reception and he said he only had a double room and we would have to pay more, we also paid a daily resort charge. The room was awful, no fridge or microwave, hole in the wall in room and bathroom that has sticky tape over, there was a gap in the door.The lock was broken off into the adjoining room.There were 2 guys on the stairs doing drugs.One was singing a song he made up right outside our room. There were cars stopping all night,shouting banging, there was no phone in room to contact reception. I saw the police drive round at one stage but the noise went on all night with a gang outside we were too scared to move or approach them.There were loud bangs.This went on all night, until about 11am the next morning.It was not safe at all arguing and shouting outside our room all night.The police arrived next morning,they had been called out to a fight there.Reception told us the noise culprits had been warned before...A woman called Miss Rosa said she was the manager and agreed to refund the extra charges and gave us a printout but the money has not been refunded to my revolut card after 5 days now.I need a refund for the hotel cost as I had to go to another hotel.Miss Rosa said she did not receive an email from Agoda but I showed her the copy Agoda had sent me... I have several receipts but NO refund for anything When we went to reception, The Police were there.They had been called out to a fight.I spoke to the manager,Miss Rosa she presented not to know what is was about,I asked her if she was the manager she said yes.I said you had sent her an email she said she did not get it you had not sent it yet but I said u had cause you sent me a copy.I told her I had also emailed she agreed to refund us for the extras we had paid to change room and for resort pass but it would take a few days to go back on card.They said that you would refund us for the hotel as you has paid them by virtual card and they did not have card details.can u please refund asap

Supervisor never called me back

I tried to book through agoda online at the hotel I was currently staying at (palace inn) when I tried to book online at the very end when it said connecting to hotel it would cancel. Making it very frustrating, the hotel manager thought I was doing fraud when I tried to book online, either she was mad that online the hotel rate was 70$ and at the front desk in person it was over 100$ after I attempted to try and book through agoda.com I got a knock on my door from the manager screaming in my ear she's going to call the police to kick me out because I'm trying to use a fake credit card on agoda.com. which was completely not true or right or professional at all..whenever I tried to call agoda customer service to talk to a supervisor they told me one would call me back and they never did. So because nobody called me back I was forced to pay over 100$ cash for the next week instead of 70$ per night scared that the hotel would call the police or kick me out. I'm in shock that agoda.com would work with a hotel that is so unprofessional. And if a supervisor would've called me back like they had told me I would've saved paying 100$ at the front desk per night instead of the online rate of 70$. I would like to be reimbursed. I stayed at the hotel for over 3 weeks because my boyfriend had just gotten surgery close by and switching hotels wasn't an option .I felt like I had no choice to book online. I waisted over 900$ because I was forced to pay through the hotel the 100$ per day rate instead of the online rate of 70$ . I used to love agoda.com and frequently used them for all my hotel stays in Los Angeles but I feel like the last year their decline in customer service is very sad. And they shouldnt be working with low end unprofessional hotels such as palace inn in rosemead. This hotel shouldn't be able to be even booked through them , it is so bad the hotel is dirty writing and blood all over walls. Rather my booking actually went through or not I feel like I should still be compensated. Customer service didn't help at all and didn't understand what the issue was.. each time I called I begged to talk to a supervisor only to be promised one would call back when nobody did.

Dreadful Hygiene, life threatening power points , Bad food. ( NO Cancellation !))

1. Your invoice clearly mentioned - NO cancellation 2. Please look at the towels and sheets provided! ( a pandemic threat NO Hygiene maintained ). 3. Life-threatening power adapters I was almost about to get killed. When I was about to plug in my laptop. 4. Look at the substandard tea bags! awful dirty kettle. 5. Complaint re-Holiday accommodation Morana apartments Lanzarote

My complain is I booked a 3 week stay booking reference id 30462**** for a 3 bedded apartment with yourselves from 6th December 2022 to 27th December 2022. On arrival the accommodation was nothing like described and we were allocated a room facing the back of an Indian curry house facing a brick wall and the smell was overpowering. When my wife complained we were then given room 121 which is still on the lower level just across which was no better as this room smelled of smoke, this after requesting a non smoking room on our original booking. Room 121 is not a 3 bedded room which is what we paid for. On checking the apartment there was mould underneath the sink and mould on the walls in the wardrobes the bathroom shower and tiles were also mouldy and the toilet constantly had foul drainage smell. We asked to upgrade our accommodation to a better apartment and pay the difference but this request was also denied as the receptionist stated the hotel was full. When we checked on the hotels website and they were still advertising apartments for rent. We approached the receptionist a third time again asking to be upgraded and pay the difference she again refused and said its room 121 thats it there are no others available or you can have your money back. With little alternative at such short notice to find alternative accommodation we were left with no other alternative other than stay. The receptionist was not very helpful in the slightest other than sending a maintenance man to paint over the mould underneath sink which didnt stop the smell of mould each time we entered the apartment. The fridge had no bottom storage shelf in the door as it was broken and missing which made storage of tall bottles impossible. My wife has lived out of her suitcase for the 3 weeks as the wardrobe wasnt fit to hang clothes I have taken a number of photos of the inside of our accommodation to support my complaint regarding these faults which in my opinion isnt an unjustified complaint to yourselves agoda to support and prove that this accommodation was of a very poor standard and is badly in need of a complete overhaul update and revamp. I am bringing this to your attention as a complaint in an effort to prevent others being put in the same position and encountering the same situation as ourselves. I am unsure how to forward the list of photos I have taken regarding the faults within this accommodation room 121 to yourselves agoda but if you could forward me a link I will forward them. Thank you and I await your reply in due course
