Advocate Merchant Solutions - Customer Care Review from Hermitage, Tennessee
This is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. They are deceitful! I owned a business and was using a different company when a representative from Advocate Merchant Solutions assured me they could save me money. The equipment arrived and when the representative tried to install the equipment it was not working. He called his supervisor from my business phone line to inform him that I would NOT be using their company and that the equipment was not functional. The representative left my business with the equipment and my contract was voided due to their faulty equipment. Advocate Merchant Solutions has reported a balance owed to my credit. I have made several calls to try and fix this and have it removed from my credit report. I spoke with a representative and he assured me he would get it resolved. I have never received a return call, I've left several messages so I am now reporting this company to the better business bureau. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Term Is Longer Than They Say!
I am writing this review on AdvoPay, a merchant service provider, with whom I have had the misfortune of doing business with. When I initially signed up with AdvoPay, I was under the impression that it was for a 3 year term, spelled out in section 23. “Term; Events of Default, in section 23.2” the term is stated at 3 years, which is what I signed up for. However, at the end of the contract, section 35.4 Term of Agreement was changed to 5 years. This fact was not brought to my attention, until I wanted to cancel my service agreement with them at the 3 year term. Their charges continued to go up, with a horde of new fees being added (such as rental equipment that we never wanted, and once we found out it was a rent and tried to buy the equipment, they said we had to fulfill the lease, and not let us buy it; consequently paying for the machine more than once) and it became a challenge to figure out how much extra money they were taking from our company. I am still trying to cancel this Agreement, and they will be charging me $750.00 to cancel. In the 20 plus years we have been in business, I have never dealt with any company who did the bait and switch the way this company does. BEWARE! Make sure you read every line of the contract, because they lie and will take extra money from you at every opportunity, and they will not honor the agreements that have been made.

Buyer Beware hidden 5 year contract and $750 early termination fee
Advocate Merchant Solutions, Inc. Aka Advo pay is a horrible company. Beware 5 year contract and $750 Early Termation Fee. They had my account set up with wrong fien number , address , and business name. After I realized the info was wrong on my account that is when the nightmare began. I called customer service and I could not understand the person very well due to thier thick Indian accent. Their was a language barrier and I could not get anything done. I was now more confused and frustrated after I hung up the phone with their out of the country customer service call center where English is a second or third language. Sadly more American Jobs overseas but they don't care just want to take my Money and spend on jobs overseas I guess. However if your lucky and get ahold of someone who knows English as first language then you most likely will be able to understand them fine. I called corp office and had much better experience and eventually everything got corrected. After almost 30 days of processing they got the correct business name address and Fien on my account. Next thing they messed up was the auto batch. But by now my expectations of this company where very low. I mean how hard is it to know the correct name and address of your customers. Somehow they turned off my auto batch. They held onto my money for several extra days. I did not get my money within 24hrs it actual took a few days. For a small business owner I need my money sooner rather than later but they don't care. But they do care about sending jobs overseas at this Indian customer service call center I guess. However I don't think it is unrealistic to ask a company to know who I am and have the correct name of my company, correct Address, and correct Fein on file. But this company doesn't care about that. But what they do care about is their 5 Year contract and their $750 early Termination fee that they hide from you. Which I was never told or even explained that I was entering into a 5yr contract with $750 early termination fee. I am just to trusting and when they told me that the service was month to month implying no contract or termination fee they fooled another one and got me as a customer. I feel as if I have been lied to, tricked deceived and now they don't care about me or my small business. All they care about is getting that $750 term action fee and shipping jobs overseas to this is India customer service call center. Maybe they can use all the money they are making off termination fees to teach English to the call center employees. I support Americian jobs as a small business owner and this Advo pay company should not ship jobs overseas. Advo pay should be more upfront and honest about they 5 year contract . Advo pay should be more upfront and honest about having almost the highest termination fee in the industry. Advo pay should learn to know the correct name and address if its customers. Well I hope it was worth to them to get that $750 dollars because I am going to use the Internet to warn everyone about this company and make sure no one else falls victim to there 5 year contract and early termination fee.
