Not good customer and insurance sucks

I applied for a Health insurance today and I thought it was a Medical but unfortunately it was not so I apply and I told my aunt about it and my aunt said thats not the answer is that she was talking about I called the customer service to get my refund and cancel my insurance and they told me that Im not going to be able to get my refund back. Im a college student, I need my refund or Im going to report this

Unethical scam

The customer service agent who sold me this plan did not disclose that its a health share, not actual insurance, and that my coverage was not guaranteed, but would be subjectively judged based on some panel of a group based in religious principles. The agent scammed me into participating in something that goes against my politics and values.

Scammed

I was scammed out of $424.90. I was told that I was purchasing health insurance under Aetna. After purchasing the policy and logged online to see that it was all a LIE, I called to cancel the policy in less than 24 hours. I was told that I didn't qualify for a refund. WHY IS THIS COMPANY STILL ALLOWED TO SCAM PEOPLE???

Very poor customer relations

My boyfriend took a plan through adroit not knowing what it was. When we called to cancel the plan because it was not what he needed a supervisor named Kevin got on the phone and was very rude and condesending. All we wanted was to cancel and he just wanted to argue & kept saying he wouldnt cancel it. We contacted the credit card company to stop the transaction and he said he already got the money. I dont know how they are trained but it is no way helpful to the consumer!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE company !!!

Fraudulent services

They lured me to take their services witout giving their catalog with just pjone call and they promised me to pay once I receive service documents to my email. When i reviewed documents and immediately called for cancellation, they denied to cancel and refused to refund for 1st month. But theor documents clearly states for refund

Paying for nothing

I signed up for this plan after switching from another health share plan. The reason I switched was some of the intrusive lifestyle audits, but the other plan actually paid benefits. This company is great at promising benefits and coverage but delivers nothing. They are great at getting their payments. No major provider near my home takes them, and I am not going to submit all my receipts and hope they reimburse me. After 6 months, they have paid zero and not even gotten any care discounts. I have been on the phone with them now 50 minutes, been passed to three people, and am now dealing with a sleazy telemarketer who keeps trying to delay my cancellation process. This is just a scam. Do not do business with this company. You will just waste your money and not really be covered.

Asked 3 times to cancel!!

Ive called 3 times asking for a cancellation. Over 3 hours on the phone begging for a cancellation. The plan still shows active and Ive been told 3 times its being cancelled. CANCEL MY PLAN! 70% does NOTHING for me when I cant afford the remaining 30% of the healthcare costs!!

Didn't need the policy

Do not get this insurance its a scam like 90 percent of the reviews say. Paid for this insurance on May the 5th insurance agent said I had to May 14th too cancel the policy if I decide too so I cancelled the policy on May 9th and they said I would get a refund.two weeks later I call and it's a different story they said I can't get a refund cause the 30 days was on May 5th and I cancelled on May 9th but the agent said I had tell may 14th to cancel to get my refund back. it's a scam.

SHADY COMPANY

DO NOT TRUST!! RYAN ONEILL is a deceitful, pushy salesperson. I spoke with Joshua the supervisor seems trained in dealing with angry customers because they get SO many. They are an insurance marketing company with no real office. Their address is a PO Box! If they take your money, call your credit card company to help you with refund. They denied me refund but my credit company was able to get partial back for me. I paid around $700 in total and got $300 back. They are a marketing insurance agency that disguises themselves as healthcare insurance. Shady company. They wont last long.

Scam/ lying

I called today to get my husband health insurance I spoke with a Sindy Kaplun she tried to start me off with high mark for over 300 a month when I said no way she came up with another plan off the market and was a private company called Multiplan PPO she offered it a little over 200.00 when I declined and wanted to just go with dental for 89.00 a month her supervisor chimed in I DIDNT EVEN KNOW HE WAS LISTENING IN! Said give it to her for 154.80. If it sounds to good to be true than it is. But I accepted that. Started the plan. Got off the phone to call the doctor and dentist to set up an appointment my doctors office never heard of this insurance and doesnt accept it. Advised me it was more of a scam called the dentist SAME THING. When I called to cancel they said even though I got the plan rolling my husband is the only one able to cancel. When my husband called the gentleman on the phone got very HOSTILE towards him and when I chimed in he forwarded the call. Wouldnt transfer us to Sindy and claimed that we have our information mixed up and talked to many people in fact we did not! After and hour of this new lady YELLING at us she finally said fine Ill just cancel your plan after I read her the terms in policy from her own company! I feel this wont actually get canceled so I had to go and cancel my credit card which was billed! Pretty sure we lost out on 290.80 because they also charged a 125.00 start up fee. Then wanted to argue about our new insurance coverage I was able to find locally with someone I can actually trust. They are reported to the federal trade commission

Very Bad

This review is based on my personal experience with AHG. The Representative used deceptive sales techniques and bullying to force a sale of the policy. The cost of the Policy was 705.00 he demanded I provide them with both a checking account number and debit card number. The Policy was not supposed to be effective until May 1, 2023., and I was told I would not be charged for the full price of the policy, only $125.00 to get the Policy Started. I was charged the full price of $705.00 which put my personal bank account in the negative. I called the customer service number and immediately cancelled the Policy not even after 24 hours of signing up. I was then transferred to the billing department who did everything they could to prevent me from cancelling the policy so they could keep the $705.00., I told them I have 30 days to cancel the policy and get a refund for all monies paid on a policy that is not effective yet. I was placed on hold. While I was on I was talking to my spouse and the Billing Representative then came back on the line and asked, "Who are you speaking to, who is there with you." I said my spouse and really it is none of your business who is in my house. Very unprofessional. After some intense debate I was told that I would possibly be getting a refund. Stay away from this group!!! I have filed a formal complaint with my State Attorney Generals Office as well. D

Cancel Subscription

Hello my name is Jennifer Brown I told y'all on the phone call last month we did not want the insurance you were supposed to cancel the service and not charge my card I see my bank account is showing a withdrawal for $249.90 I'm asking again to cancel the membership do not debit my card anymore from this point on. If you do not cancel membership as of today and try to debit any further monthly charges I will have to seek out legal options. Jennifer Brown

SCAMMED AND STOLE MU MONEY

So before I did my research I can admit Ive made a huge mistake, I have been scammed and lost my money. Sadly it is a fault on both parts but mostly theres I have sent money emails and got in the same email each time. I am scared to call though I do not recommend adroit or strata. Everything is fake. Do not do this!!! The two pictures below one is the email I keep getting in the other is one of my few emails I have sent.
