Horrible customer service

Needed a key duplicated. I supplied the key to cut and a key to copy. They made cuts on the bottom of the blade, not the top, making the key useless because they insisted they were right. I worked in the key engineering department for 25 years at ILCO UNICAN in Rocky Mount NC. I left them the ruined key, took the bitted one and left. Got nothing and paid nothing. The employees involved are NOT trained properly. Will never refer Ace for key duplicating.

Clothet information

Hi. I bought a clothet and when I get home I realize the size is not ok. I tried to call the ace company for four days with no answer. I finally get there and when I asked the why manager why do I have to drive one hour to talk to them he said they are busy I can send email. There were no apology or explanation. I want to cancel the order. I don't accept such kind of service .

Went to Ace Hardware on Bee Ridge Rd in Sarasota, FL to inquire about returning my wheelbarrow that was broken. Unnamed manager asked if i had receipt and how long ago i bought it. I replied i had no receipt and it was over 30 days ago, but the wheelbarrow was broken. He told me that i was crazy if i thought he was going to replace my piece of *** wheelbarrow and implied that i bought it on Facebook Market Place just to try to return to his store. He told me he was sick of people trying to take advantage of him. He reached in his pocket and said do i want money. I said no, just a new wheelbarrow. He said if i didn't like his attitude i could call corporate and file a complaint and then told me i was banned from his store.

I saw something that needed to be addressed to the manager department

This coworker was out peeing outside the store in the back. He was an older looking man kind of bald head. He didn't see me but I saw him I'm trying to be anonymous. I work close by that store . It was the Manassas store. I thought I may say something because something like this shouldn't be happening because there are other people that work back here in the daytime I think I've seen this happen around the evening hours but it was still light. I think it happened last week on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

Had a complaint about a drunk staff at 312 E 2nd Avenue

staff member called Barry was drunk and smelling alcohol yelling at me in support of her store manager. The Refused to served me because i was not happy with appropriate shouting at me. barika

They sold me items from a closed store and they would not cancel and return my money!!! Strange, if and when I can get the items I needed, I have to return for credit.

Harassment

I will never shop at an ace hardware again thanks to your new port Richey Florida store area code 34655 . Ive never in my life felt so judged and harassed. First time in the store and three workers one including the manager kicked me out of the store for the explanation or reason. Wouldnt even let me purchase the toilet seat screws I needed and went there for!

TERRIBLE customer service !

I was on a mission to buy a new chainsaw and thought I would support my local North Port Ace hardware store. This was a BIG mistake!! This store located on US41 in North Port Florida, is to be absolutely avoided. Poor selection combined with rude clerks that have absolutely no knowledge of their own products makes for a horrible shopping experience. But even worse is the condescending attitude of the entire staff. When I explained to a clerk that a product that I was interested in was in stock at another Ace store, I was told: "What are you doing in this store?" Just absolutely UNBELIEVABLE !

Worst company ever dealt with

Brought a weed trimmer that was already put together, but broke down within one use. The product sucks, refuse to honor the warranty & call Stihl, and they said I would take the 15 percent that ace offered to me.

$5 Birthday gift card refund for item returned

Tried to return item which was partially purchased using my $5 birthday gift card and store would not give me my $5 gift coupon to use to purchase another item in the store. They said once gift card was used it is gone. I still planned to use the $5 coupon on another item. Why was I not allowed to receive a $5 coupon. Our family has been a Ace customer for many years.

Bait and switch tactics

Discount coupons from Ace Hardware denied at local Ace Hardware store (Herrs ace Hardware Columbia pa). I have since talked to others who have the same complaint. Have not heard from Ace

Buyer Beware!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS "BUSINESS"! Worst professional experience in 30+ years! Delivered (3 days late, forcing use of first vacation day) 1/3 of several thousand dollar/several major appliance order. Still had us at end of day. Refused to reschedule piece THEY SCHEDULED WITHOUT NOTICE OR PERMISSION FOR 4TH DAY LATE FORCING 2ND VACATION DAY AND INABILITY TO PREPARE FOOD unless we called a 2nd number (after business hours) because the first rep "doesn't do that." Well, apparently none of their employees "do" much of anything including preparing, delivering, providing customer care, scheduling, communicating, etc!! AVOID!!! Use a payment method that will support you when you have to escalate!!! *and they also still have a backorder fridge/freezer not due until, at least, Saturday. Ordered all this about a month ago....and is Saturday true? With all parts?
