They operate buses that are prone to mechanical failures, bus doors that get stuck, and they take you to your detination to leave you there.

Have not heard from them, don't expect to, and don't want anything to do with them, just wanted to warn the folks in Boynton Beach Fl that they could face danger riding with Academy, they face the possibility of being left behind and NO ONE from them will care.

The buses they send are total mechanical garbage. You can never be sure the door will open or close, they also have mechanical defects so you get stuck at your destination, left on your own to come back. Their phone customer contacts don't care, do not help, they just say "take a taxi". Really?? In a 55+ community with people who have physical limitations to be treated like this is beyond outrages. I tell everyone I know, be careful taking an Academy bus, you may not be able to return. No complaint about drivers, they try, but the equipment they have is total garbage, as is the management.

I am unhappy that the service between port authority and the jersey shore is almost ineffective. Will the schedule resume to last summers schedule soon?

It is hard to communicate with a person when I call but when I did they were nice but couldnt provide me with any information.

Contact your Governor & Demand Competition

Academy has decided that they can take it upon themselves to change their routes and schedules based on their inability to retain drivers and provide the service that is being paid for. Commuting from Jackson, NJ to New York and back has become an absolute nightmare. Academy dispatch has begun stating that there is nothing that we can do about it. It is what it is is what they are saying now. Mr. Chuck Kasinger who is the supervisor is who his reps say to call. He refuses to answer calls and does not return messages. Basically Chuck is saying drop dead!!

No bus

The 5:05 bus never showed. Your dispatcher was rude and told me its Suburbans issue. Suburban said Academy never sent a bus. Your dispatcher said they are using a special scedual that apparently your customers are not able to look up.

Horrible

on coldest day of the year driver skips our 7:45am stop at Red Bank train station. 8 of us left out in cold. when I call Tom's River dispatch the guy calls me and 7 others liars. Said driver was their and waited before he left. There was an issue with train track gates but that was cleared up before 7:40am so the driver didn't wait as he should have until 7:45 before he left. I got to stop at 7:40 but others were there before 730 and there was no bus. My wife and I are 12 year customers of Academy. What a way to treat your customers. Clearly academy is not the best way into the city any longer.

Extremely horrible

The Sim 24 is suppose to show up at 6:23 and 6:53, but it does not show up 70% of the time. When you ask the Sim 23 driver if the 24 is coming, they would always say it's coming and then there's nothing coming. The wait time for this bus is typically 40min+

Reckless driver

On 10/16/2019, bus driver driving bus #6811 almost cause a huge accident on Route 66 in Manassas VA around 7:20AM. As the bus merged from the Manassas exit onto Route 66, Driver crossed 4 lanes without waiting to see if lane was clear. It's rush hour so no lanes were clear where most vehicles were stopped or gong 15 miles an hour. I almost hit the bus and so did other cars. This driver should be fired!

Lack of Parking at Academy Lincroft Commuter Lot

The parking situation (or lack of) at Lincroft has gone from bad to worse. On many days I arrive before 7am to find the main lot and overflow lot completely full. So after paying $400 per month for my bus pass, and another $30 per month for a parking pass, there are many days when I arrive at the facility to find that there is no available parking. This is unacceptable. If Academy is unable to accommodate every customer who buys a pass, they should limit the number of passes they sell. Better yet, given the amount of commuters they serve (and revenue they generate) from the Lincroft facility alone, they should construct a parking garage, or lease additional parking from one of the many vacant properties in the adjacent office park. I am sure that many people share my concerns.
