Unhealthy Moderators on 800notes
This used to be a good helpful website. However, now there are several moderators that post mean negative shaming unhealthy replies to people who post on their website.

WAY TO MUCH TROLLING ON THIS SITE!
You think initially its a good place to post scam phone calls you have received. That proves to not be true once the mods, owner and others on the board immediately begin trolling you as much as they can. They even create puppet accounts and gain access to information via collecting your email and password to then gain access to that email account. Sure, it could be someone else doing that. I suggest you go somewhere else to post phone numbers. Go to the FTC, FCC, iC3, and other places to report scam calls to.

Try contacting who I thought was the main moderator of the site. Nothing happened.
Then I poster on there, politely, to say that I thought the moderates were being unfair. It literally was like sharks attacking a piece of fresh meat in the water; that’s how bad it was....

800notes.com used to be a decent website, with some information for people to research about those wonderful telemarketing calls. As we all know, telemarketing calls have increased exponentially over the past decade. It seems there are several moderators on there who will flag anyone who posts stuff that they dont like or approve of. They delete the comments, or belittle the comment poster. In fact, some of their belittling can turn into straight up bullying. They can become quite rude. It is so bad now that more than half of the comments get made fun of, or users get berated for simply posting info about a call they have received. This site is absolutely full of hate, vitriol, and garbage; it should be taken down.

Any thread that acquired a significant response /readership accompanies challenged trolls that ruined their service, they usually have avatars and simply antagonize with rather juvenile behavior.

Cyberstalking galore!
Ive posted off & on about telemarketing calls/scam calls to that site. I regularly get some complete IDIOT troll posting behind me trying to discredit my post or tell me what or how to post - poster calls themselves TygerKat. 800notes really needs to remove them permanently.

Fictitious Comments on Numbers
I've noticed that the admin on this site fluffs phone numbers with fictitious Comments for the purpose of SEO (my guess) and I've seen that the site also steals content from other sites.

I don't believe this website is a real phone directory as advertised. I know its free, but it should still be what it claims to be. I went there with the belief i could find information to help me with who called me. Instead i find its just a site that people post whatever they feel like and the Members say one thing, then do what they tell people their not doing. I can't say i find this to be a reliable site for information on calls, rather a place to vent peoples frustrations on unwanted calls.

Many if not all of Positive reviews here for 800notes can be considered nothing more than Shilling. If you like a service, would you go out of your way to find a website where people are posting negative/bad experiences? Not likely. The only reason anyone would do this is to attempt - to discredit their critics, cover up their bad behavior & self promote. - aka Shilling. A shill, also know as a plant or a stooge, is a person who publicly helps or gives credibility to a person or organization without disclosing that they have a close relationship with the person or organization. A shill may also act to discredit opponents or critics of the person or organization in which they have a vested interest through character assassination or other means. Most shills attempt to give the impression of an enthusiastic customer independent of the company, web site or *** artist, for whom they are secretly working. The person or group in league with the shill relies on crowd psychology to encourage other onlookers or audience members to do business with the seller or accept the ideas they are promoting. It is clear that the stooges/shills/tolls from 800notes are here to shill and troll in a most unprofessional manner. If you look deeper into many of the reviews you will see the self promotion, denials & projection of bad behavior & nasty name calling attempting to discredit the negative /bad experiences other have had. These moderators/registered users have nothing better to do than cause trouble by attacking people that comment here with "false" accusations without proof or facts. When they are asked to provide proof they are silent - no facts - no proof - just fiction. Look closely at all the reviews. It's easy to see what these cyber-bullying, self centered twits are up to. The bullies from 800notes are stalking their victims here in an attempt to shut down those that have called them out! if you are here to support 800notes.com please provide proof and facts. Your false accusations, magical thinking, cyber bulling prove you are nothing more than social misfits. If you want the complaints to stop, then stop the bad behavior. It's that simple!

800notes regulars deleting all my posts
The posse over at 800notes who claim to be regulars are generally bullies and won't let a single post they feel not worthy of being published to be posted. Meanwhile they have a private section devoted to their own where they talk about non-members with impunity. Thanks to my two geek friends for this ***, I can provide some of what they like to keep private and will publish more in the future or show others how to view this members only part when they don't mend their foolish ways. You need to stop thinking no one else has valid opinions or ideas other than yourselves.

I found I was simply misunderstood about what I posted and that I was incorrect in my original assumptions. The site is in fact a good site and it is constantly harassed by a very persistent Troll, looking to cause any disruption for attention.

I was reading around this site and found some disturbing reviews/comments from 800notes Users/Mods. I came across this review: freddys.pissedconsumer.com/freddys-pizza-review-from-denver-colorado-201610****6287.html I remembered seeing the name "Freddy Fazbear's" at 800notes while searching numbers. I commented to the review and went to 800notes to see the posts there again. I found the correct info for that business and posted about it. In 17 mins, my post was deleted! I've read other reviews for 800notes here and it doesnt make sense why they are behaving like this. -Is any of the information from them real? -Why do they allow such mis-information to continue, even after its been pointed out to them? -Why do they remove the true information, once its shown to be true? Based on what i've read here and my own experience with them , i can believe they are deceptive. I took screenshots to as proof, as they seem to keep asking people to "prove it".

The registered users @***.com are bullies who only post to entertain themselves and occasionally toss in some important info, self-justifying for posting at all. Instead of clearing out unwanted posts, they would rather bait people into an argument so they can each take turns marking your post with negative likes [-1] at the same time pat each other on the butt with a [+1], all the while the thread fills up with useless garbage , mostly from them. I even seen Sir Bedevere lie about why they didnt remove a fake post when asked, saying it wasnt a TOS violation, when in fact it was pointed out the specifics of the violation. He just removed that post, leaving his to show with his reason its wasnt a violation. Then on top of that he removed a post of the guy who questioned him and that guy didn't violate any TOS. Slim is the main troublemaker, baiting people into posting by grilling them with questions to make them prove their reasoning of their post, then discredit anything they say, so his buddies have a reason to troll the thread. They challenge anyone who asks a question and gangs up on them. When they are shown they were wrong about something, they simply remove your post into a PPMA ("Pending Post Moderation Approval"), which is never approved. The site is littered with PPMA, along with registered members posts heckling suspected troll/Shills, many of which they baited. There are also posts of them making fun of how people spell, why they responded to an older post, etc. Its understandable any message board needs to ensure trolling and spamming are monitored, but they act suspicious of anyone posting who responds to a reply made by them to the Original Poster. If you even remotely sound like your against them or their motives, your post is removed by PPMA. The site isnt even creditable with many numbers, since they dont challenge short story responses. Many trolls/shills take advantage of this and post nonsense stories , where some are challenged, but not removed because the registered users would be able to leave their own heckling posts without looking foolish. So its sometimes difficult to even find if a number has good information about it.

Poor moderation or help
I made a report about a number and it was sent to moderation. I asked a question in the thread and a member answered it just fine. There was a second member "Slim" and she badgered me , not reading or understanding what i was concerned about. After posting back and forth, she labeled me a troll, even though i was only posting replies to her replies. She started flagging my posts an putting them into moderation, then leaving her comment as the "last word". I posted lots of numbers over the years and now i wont bother. There are plenty of sites people can get info on phone numbers , so i'll comment to them instead.

When information about who called is unavailable this site provides some value of who may be calling. However if you decide to contribute & post information, beware of the "registered users" /"regulars" that troll the site like a pack of school yard bullies looking for a fight. Sadly these Users/Trolls attack any post they don't understand & often will make nasty disparaging comments about you & your post if they don't like it. These regulars and their comments provide no value. Often time other Trolls/Registered Users will gang up on someone posting information like a bunch of Cyber-thugs as they cheer each other on. Their comments never seek to understand & provide little to Zero Value. They also have the power to hide your comments if they don’t like them. Sadly the site has not "Rules of Conduct" to address and deal with this behavior.
