CONTRACTOR IS A THIEF! BEWARE!!!
PLEASE HELP EXPOSE THIS THIEF AND SHARE! 17.7 REMODELING / Alberto J. Castaneda I’ve been robbed and taken advantage of during my most vulnerable time. My home was flooded and like most people out there, everything was damaged. Friends and family please Share! My home was flooded due to Harvey last year. I went on a hunt for a contractor to help fix my home. I contacted 17.7 Remodeling and spoke to the owner Alberto. I checked him on the better business bureau and did my research. So in December, after he had came out to look at my home, he requested a deposit to hold my spot for repair. I gave him a deposit of $12,838.50 in the beginning of January for the work to start on February 19, as the contract had stated. However, the week he was suppose to start the work I did not hear from him. After 3 weeks of trying to contact Mr. Castaneda, he finally responded and admitted that he didn’t have proper licensing to do the work on my home. Therefore I canceled the contract and requested my deposit be refunded. Since then he had promise to return my deposit but has not come through. He’s been giving me excuses and now I can’t even get a hold of him. Please help share so that no one else will have to go through what I am going through now. PLEASE SHARE!!!
